Case seemed open and shut to me. I said I've never done this but let's start with a vote on Murder 1. We all wrote down our vote. Me and lady next to me counted and it was 10 to 1 that he was guilty. We all went around the table and said our piece. About a minute each. Lady next to me was the one that didn't think he was guilty. I spoke last and we convinced her. We voted again and wrote them all down again. It was 11 to 0. Then we all just visited about it a few minutes.
We all agreed on sentence (life without parole). We were done in just under 45 minutes. Rang the buzzer and guy came to the door saying.... "do you need some documents?". I said no, tell the judge we have a decision. He was shocked. I signed the document they had provided. They made us wait about 20 minutes while they got both parties back in the court house. (I hot boxed a cigarette with the window open while we waited)
Judge made me stand up and read the decision. Defense polled the jury. Called us each by NAME! We all said yes. They walked us out the back door and to our cars, because the defendant had a bunch of scary looking friends there.
Later I've learned it's not suppose to work that way.
That reminds me. We had to do our verdict over. The court did not allow cursive.
Suppose...for their own protection, they make a pact to never discuss what went on in that room.
I noticed the SEIU on their posters
Here’s what bothers me....Here’s a guy who defended himself and in two weeks....the trial is over.
Then there’s Hasan, Holmes, the other creep, the Boston Bomber.........no self defense involved, multiple murders viewed by hundreds....and these trials will take years. Something is very wrong.
That’s because they expose too much about the laxity of the O administration.
GZ on the other hand can be used to further the “ no gun “ agenda
Of course SEIU is involved..its always SEIU, or other Union thugs..Im surprised Planned Parenthood isnt out there with their idiotic posters
just proves I’m teachable
Shower => Freeper lore
Just curious, if you had wanted to read the actual transcript of the trial, would they have allowed that?
Hugh lore.
Made it home. Visiting with brother. Will touch base after he goes home.
I just have to say how cool it is that I can read FR while getting a pedicure. Ready to get home, make a drink and wait for a verdict.

And that you learned from the greatest practitioner of the “ art of the snark”
And series.
I think the news people are going to get it first.
And as you say “the ones just along for the ride will take
another bus” - I’m afraid that bus is buses and they will
travel to the counties all across the states.
Sorry - I feel the storm coming...
I was foreman on a jury once, and we did a straw poll first thing after electing me. We were unanimous, but I insisted we at least go over the rules. One person said he wasn’t so sure anymore, so we started in on the evidence. When we finished, he was OK to go and we found him guilty. Drug charge, 30 lbs of pot.

That tells me that law enforcement feels they are being railroaded on this whole event.
The fact that they requested a list of evidence tells me that they ignored John Guy’s request for a decision from the heart as opposed to a decision from the evidence.
