Even with a not guilty verdict his life is wrecked almost beyond repair.

Diana has been on the right side of this all along. And she’s been the only one with any sense on Greta’s panels.
I had this conversation with a co-worker today who said he thought Martin was guilty as well. After explaining to me the 'why' of it, I said to him, "So what you're telling me is that your conclusion of guilt is based solely upon your emotional state, and that the facts of the case have absolutely no bearing upon your decision." He actually nodded in agreement with what I said as if there were nothing at all wrong with it.
Nice find maggie!
Ok. .they’ve been at it two hours.
I don’t understand why Guy was allowed to inject Sean Hannity into the close when the jurors are understood not to be following any media source. That was just plain partisan.
Rush is not nearly as “cutting
edge” as he likes to think he is.
OTOH, he knows conservative
ideology and makes me “awake
and aware” at times, mostly as
a refresher...(things i already
know, but haven’t thought about
for a while)

Just for the sake of conversation and trivia while we wait out the verdict, I want to mention in passing that I have only one minor thing that I observed and that kept my attention throughout. One thing that I did.....and still do.....have a couple of heepbie-jeebies about.
It concerns Zimmerman's demeanor. The man never changed expression from start to finish, never moved any facial muscles, never showed any emotion that was sad, happy, nervous, excited, curious, disgusted, painful, comedic.....you name it.
Only once did I see some human emotion, i.e. when his loyal, steadfast uncle took the stand on behalf of his nephew and the defendant wiped one furtive tear from under his eye.
Now, I know all the comments to the contrary....George is the stoic type by nature, George wanted to look like a pussy cat vs. a killer tiger, George was doing what his attorneys ordered him to do, George didn't want to be a distraction, it's George's heritage and upbringing....whatever.
However, to me he came off as a robot, a Madame Tussaud wax effigy, someone weird that sits like a buddha, never changing expression, never expressing emotion, never even coughing, sneezing, blowing his nose, wiping his brow, scratching his ear, biting his lips.....nada, nothing, zilch....things that any normal person would do at least once in a while over the span of a week or more sitting in a chair.
As I said, mine is just a minor critique, something I noticed from the gitgo given my previous life as a writer trained to watch people, life, personal behavior and events sometimes to the point of minutia. All my comments have been as a passionate Zimmerman defender, a man who's the victim of many levels of government pressure and racist politics.
And....I don't think that the figure of the "automaton" that was the defendant sitting immobile in his chair day after day is going to affect the 6 female jurors in any major way.....but then again.....who knows? It affected me in a certain small way but I'm not a juror in this case.
Still, I kept hoping one of his attorneys would place a loud whoopee-pad on Zimmerman's chair seat after he had to rise for something or other during the tedious times of the trial, but, alas, it was not to be, LOL.

If the right thing happens and this jury of 6 woman acquits
George Zimmerman both Zimmerman and the members of the jury will go into some kind of witness protection program. Their lives will be forever changed. No getting on national TV for this jury. Ain’t gonna happen. If George Zimmerman is set free as he damn well should be, he might as well start looking at relocating overseas someone. Either that or plastic surgery for a complete new face. He will never be able to go out in public as long as he can be recognized. If he’s acquitted he is dead man walking. And that’s a hell of indictment on this country we live in. It’s pathetic. To have to live in fear of a certain segment of society.
Well you obviously have internet service and a laptop, so it’s not a total disaster.
The twitter world may get the news before we do at FR. I would check this site also:

Was the judge wearing a hoodie when she charged the jury?
No. hoodies are worn to protect from rain - so says the prosecutor.
The verdict has to be unanimous regardless if it is guilty or not guilty. If not unanimous there will be a mistrial, Zimmerman will be discharged from custody but he can be arrested, charged and tried again and most likely would be.
IMO, it is rare cases when one can tell what a jury is going to do. We have the advantage of knowing things which they are not supposed to know. We do not know their internal biases. We don’t know how they will interact...who is dominate who is a follower. What we do know is their is one dead person and one whose entire future existance lays in the balance. Frankly I actually believe the tradmark mom probably believes St Trayvon was a good lad...who has not heard that argument from a mother confronted by soneone complaining about their kids (my boy would never do that for example).
From my perspective, GZ is getting the dirty end of the stick with this show trial but that no way influences what the jury will decide. Obviously the judge wants him convicted, she has to live with that. The whole fiasco began with the state taking the case away from Sanford and assigning a “pro enforcement anti gun and SYG law” attorney. That began the dominos and we are all held captive to that decision. Even if GZ is found NG, there is no justice here.
That is why, had I been in his shoes, when all this bulls##t started up I'd pulled a Snowden at the first opportunity.
I know this has been asked before, but for some reason, I didn’t read an answer. Why 6 jurors and not 12?
George sighs deeply and appears emotional as defense witness LeAnne Benjamin describes how her and her husband provided financial support, meals, and a trip to a men's clothing store to help George in the months leading up to trial.
Larger crowds gathering outside courthouse...Several in the crowd are just wanting trouble..
