Today, July 12th, is DAY #24 (of 5th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Yesterday the prosecution provide closing arguments (Summary: http://legalinsurrection.com/2013/07/states-closing-argument-two-hours-of-raising-doubt).
Today the defense attorney, Mark O’Mara will present his closing argument. Then the prosecution rebuttal.

Yes, but the jury won’t know the potential prison sentences and that’s so unfair! Duly noted x5.
A benefit of following a trial like this is that we laymen get a look at some things we had no idea of. For me, I admire the precision that the law, at its best demands. I admire the presumption of innocence and the burden of proof.
The fact that penalties are not given to the jury is per the laws of the state of Florida. To quote MOM "It is what it is."
