We all know oil production in Texas has soared in recent years. But putting the rise in graphic form shows just how phenomenal the energy turnaround has been: The surge looks exponential.
In March, Texas oil production reached its highest level since 1984. That month, the Lone Star State pumped more than 74 million barrels of crude from the ground, which means if Texas were a country, it would be one of the 15 largest oil producers in the world.

Texas oil output has doubled in less than three years, putting it in the ranks of OPEC heavy-hitters like Venezuela, Kuwait and Nigeria.
As a whole, the United States produced 221 million barrels of crude in April, with more than a third coming from Texas.

God bless Texas. Drill, baby, drill! And please continue arresting Obama’s fascist federal goons anytime they trespass on Texas sovereign soil.
As soon as Obama finishes destroying America’s coal industry he will turn his attention to the troublesome oil producers who are undermining his strategies to keep America dependent on OPEC.
God bless Texas! Woo Hoo!
You should see the amount of natural gas Gunner is producing.
I’m sure Alaska could easily compete if the stupid feds would open the land to drilling.
Yes, we saw that the other day on that video. Just like William Wallace. Humblegunner’s seven feet tall. Kills men by the hundreds. And if HE were here, he’d consume the enemy with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.
Oh, wait a minute. Those were fireballs they were shooting AT him.
LOL
Yup, Ive seen him break wind on both ends simultaneously.
You betcha!!
Texas is leading the way!
I think if Hussein tried to stop Texas oil production, that might be the last straw for Texas. Don't know what Texas would do, but don't think we would stand for that. Our State District Attorney Abbott has already put his foot in Hussein's throat vowing to arrest any of his henchmen the first step they take across our border and that had to do with guns. Trying to stop our oil would be worse.
And gas in the US is $4.00 a gallon?
***** “ That’s all well and good...but I’ll be happier when we stop importing oil AND the price of gasoline goes way down! “ *****
That ain’t gonna happen, the FED Tax and the cost of getting the Raw Product (via Alphabet Govt agencies) and the restrictions on the Refineries from same Alphabet Govt Agencies insure High Pump Prices.

Do you understand that the reason our domestic production is climbing is the relatively high price of oil (and therefor gasoline)?
If that price drops significantly, so will our domestic drilling. Those tight formations like shale are not cheap like the easy wells of the past.
Filled up tonight at my local station in TEXAS at a cost of $.10 more per gallon than last week. Fortunately I live in the suburbs because I noticed it’s up by $.25 a gallon in the city. I remember paying only $.25 a gallon total - just doesn’t seem possible.
I’d be happy enough if we just stopped sending money to the Arabs!
I drove through Three Rivers today, gas is the same price as San Antonio and New Braunfels. Filled up in Corpus where the refineries are, no difference.
Drill baby drill doesn’t do a damn thing for our prices.
