I know three men who I believe were nice men and caring husbands whose wives had affairs on them and then, despite attempts at counseling, left them. It’s something when the kids tell the judge they want to stay with the father and he raises them; as was the case here.

My son’s ex was a really nice girl; they had 2 kids and at first she was a really good mom. Then something happened with her and as soon as my son walked in the door from work, she would hand him the kids and leave for all or most of the night. After their separation he left the kids with her because she said she wanted them, but ended up getting custody because she got messed up with losers and couldn’t stay sober.
