Qualis artifex pereo! What an artist is now about to perish! Emperor Nero
These words were the last words uttered before the mad Roman Emperor Nero commits suicide after burning the immortal city of Rome , the question what will be Morsis last words before he steps down as president . Will it be Quae iam peritura philosophorum which stands for What a philosopher about to perish! hence his Honorary Doctorate degree strangely awarded to him by Pakistanis or will be it be Quae iam peritura fascist! which means as What a fascist about to Perish!
The Islamists and their affiliates are lobbying in the USA and utilizing their outlets like CAIR backed by the Qatari propaganda machine Al Jazeerah International to fabricate blatant lies about the real situation in Egypt. In Many cases the Islamists propaganda machine Al Jazeerah, has been reporting for almost a year that Morsi is the popular president who is fought unfairly by his secular adversaries in Egypt. The latter were always portrayed by Al Jazeerah and their Islamist lobby in USA and UK as being ironically anti-democratic and they dont respect the will of the people which is the complete opposite.
For over a year through their recently formed viscous lobby in the USA, UK and with the help of the Qatari allies, Muslim Brotherhood attempted to portray themselves as the moderate Islamists who are lenient towards the west and believe in democracy. This claim couldnt be further from the truth with Morsi consolidating his powers in Egypt to a God-like president worse than any time since 1952. His main allies are former active terrorists like Gamaa Islamiya elements who committed atrocities in Egypt since the 1970s and ending by a massacre of Tourists in Luxor in 1997 killing over 50 innocents and injuring dozens.

It is hard to evaluate news sources from there, but this seems very credible.
It begs the question, Did Morsi actually direct the Benghazi Attack.
Interesting that our government is embracing an Islamic government over a secular one.
Looking back, I think it would have been best if we let Saddam Hussein take over the entire Middle East and establish his secular dictatorship.
Sadly a true statement.
I have a hunch what’s going on in Egypt is an exercise in the usual bloodletting for the sake of bloodletting. Muslims seem to prefer to spill so-called “infidel” blood; from time to time, however, they succumb to a compulsion to spill their own. Any religious, social, or political pretext will do. Once enough blood has been spilled to satisfy everyone’s lust for the sight of blood, people quiet down, shake their heads, and return to the task of not quite starving.
"The Egyptians are revolting."
"You betcherass! They stink on ice! PULL!"
Their lobbyists are really thick and sticky.
Good but long article.
History of the Muslim Brotherhood Penetration of the U.S. Government
http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/3672/muslim-brotherhood-us-government
Most rational people celebrate the passing of Islamic fundamentalist like Mursi but this coup may turn out to be a disaster for Egypt and the entire region. Mursi had been politically checked. The massive protests demonstrated that he had no hope of fully implementing his agenda. The Army feared however that given enough time , Mursi would have purged the senior officers and took control. The massive demonstrations gave the generals an opportunity to act and they seized it. There is no doubt they had at least the passive acquiescence of their US financiers. Now the reality and political consequences of deposing an elected Islamic government will become apparent. The Brotherhood will not go gently. Mursi is a symbol and martyr. In their “righteous indignation”, they will conduct a long campaign of civil discord, violence and terrorism. Egypt is already destitute and overpopulated. The economy will worsen creating even more poverty and misery. “Aid” never seems to reach the people. The rural masses are poorly educated, impoverished and have few prospects. The Brotherhood will have no difficulty finding recruits for its dirty work. Within a year over a million unwanted refugees will present themselves to the West. The euphoria of July 3 will soon be gone.
Ask his buddy Bammy, who is still actively implementing 0bamaCAIR.
I would say Morsi’s friend Obama and Clinton was also behind it Morsi did what Obama wanted him to do..
So, the worst anti-government riots in Egypt’s history happened AFTER the Egyptians had the opportunity for the first time in their history to democratically elect their own leader.
Mohamed Morsi won his presidency by a wide margin, and what else could the electorate have expected from a Muslim Brotherhood fanatic like him than increasingly autocratic rule?
So why did they revolt? It must have something to do with the economic crisis raging in Egypt. That’s the 10,000-pound elephant in the room of the Arab Spring uprisings. But the media refuses to focus on this.
If Egypt’s new military government can’t feed the people, there’ll be more chaos, and the Middle East refugee crisis created by Syria’s civil war will reach epic proportions.
Good article. I have only one problem with it. This sentence.
“These words were the last words uttered before the mad Roman Emperor Nero commits suicide after burning the immortal city of Rome”
IIRC, he wasn’t mad, he didn’t burn Rome, and it wasn’t immortal.
I’ve been watching the live stream coverage of the Eqyptian situation on Al Jazeera (now that we have only Roku, that’s the only live streaming news we can get), and I don’t get a sense of their coming down on either side.
However, their feature “investigative” piece on the dangers of fracking is obviously biased. The last thing the Arab world wants is for the West to become energy independent. They would have to go back to selling rugs for their national income.
Bump!
“Mursi would have purged the senior officers and took control.”
Obozo has already done exactly that. Litmus test was will you order firing on US citizens.
I have no doubt it really happened at the Flag Officer level.
You are correct about the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It has devolved into a bureaucracy of politically correct senior officer careerists. It is no longer the warriors council dedicated to the country’s defense. How could rational military line officers endorse women in combat and open homosexuals in the ranks? Let’s hope they never fire on Americans but you may be right.
Ignorance is bliss and Obama is one happy fella.
