San Diego is always fun...at least they're smaller planes..but the old old, Kai Tak..was a pip..747s landing down alongside/between apartment towers...I flew into there about a dozen times in the 80's and 90's..just surreal..

I don’t know how many times I flew into Kai Tak in the mid to late 60’s. Always on PanAm flight 001 and landing late at night or very early morning hours. You are right it was a PIP!

Interesting landing approach. I noticed in that Kai Tak video they took the music score from the
1964 movie "633 Squadron" who flew fast Mosquito bombers.
