I Like Barack: Obama Reminds Historian Brinkley of Eisenhower

This Fourth of July weekend is turning into an unforseen laff-fest. Yesterday we had NBC featuring a photo of President Obama making what he might have thought was an assertive hand gesture while discussing the situation in Egypt with his aides.
Today treats us to historian Douglas Brinkley, on Morning Joe, claiming that when it comes to foreign policy, President Obama reminds him of, yes, Supreme-Allied-Commander-turned-President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
View the chuckle-worthy video here.

Ike as general= 9
Ike as POTUS=4
a reminder that great military leaders don’t always make good presidents

Idiot professor - people admired and respected President Eisenhower because he had a set of accomplishments BEFORE he was ever elected ... while obozo has no accomplishments, no record, no history of ANY accomplishment.

Obama is nothing like Cousin Ike. Ike was NOT self absorbed like our current White House Resident. Eisenhower described himself as the most religious person he knew. Obama’s religion is worshipping himself.

Funny—I didn’t realize Eisenhower shrunk our military.

I think Ike has been highly underrated as a President. For this slack-jawed, booger-eating moron liberal “historian” to compare him to the great 0bama means Ike’s reputation must be coming up a bit. /s/

I see the usual suspects of media flying monkeys are out in force again providing cover for Obama- this time over his Egypt FAIL. Obama has more identities than a Mexican illegal. First it was Kennedy, then Reagan, then Lincoln, and now...Ike. Obama is a shape shifter.

Sure, he’s just like Ike (minus the leadership ability, work ethic, integrity, intelligence, and love for country).

As I recall, Eisenhower actually warned us against a too powerful “military/industrial complex”, while Obama tells us to ignore those paranoid voices as domestic spying increases by some 70%.
Next thing you know, these idiots will claim Obama is more of a fiscal conservative than Coolidge.

This clown is mentally ill. Ike was one of our best presidents, Bork Obunga is beyond any doubt our worst.
