I wonder how long it will be before any of us have to stutter, disclaim memory, refer to notes or otherwise avoid answering simple questions, such as “is he white, black or hispanic”.
These are not ME reports they are looking at. This ME made notes as to how questions might be asked and then he developed his answers. He said he spent hours doing this. So he put himself in the jury box, asked himself questions, then answered them. LOL!

I do not believe this Bao fella was even present for this autopsy. It was probably done as routine by staff. That is what Bao is afraid of.

I would think BLDR would LOVE a mistrial at this point.
I do also believe that strapping on a gun and following suspicious people into dark places is very dangerous conduct and likely to lead to real serous problems.
And that is in evidence exactly where? What is in evidence is Z was on his way to Target. Furthermore, he was a coordinator for the HOA crime watch, not a sentinel.
They certainly screwed up a lot of things in the autopsy, and collection/preservation of evidence. The simplest explanation that I can come up with is that nobody anticipated that this case would blow up the way it has. The ME comes in, sees a young, tattooed black male expired from a gunshot wound. Big deal... how often do ME’s see that? So he barely goes through the motions, figuring that it’s just another anonymous thug that will soon be forgotten.
Now he has to put on a show to cover his butt.

I said this at the beginning of the trial that Bernie reminds me of the controlling and arrogant boss (Dabney Coleman) in the movie “Nine to Five.”
In the end, the girls control him.
The prosecution has only emotional blackmail.
ie “yes we all screwed up but please convict because there is a sad mother and just ignore the physical facts, the evidence, the testimony, the lying witnesses, the contradictory statements, or the fact there is a civil lawyer chomping to file a civil suit based on a conviction.”
Given this lawyer’s sleaziness, i would imagine he will sue the prosecutors and their officice and the state of FL regardless.
