Today, July 5th, is DAY #19 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
The State is expected to wrap up their case today A great recap of the trial so far is available HERE: The key witness today expected to be Sybrina Fulton, mom.
Great Expectations? Remember, as yall have noted during the 15+ months of research, there is so much corruption in the assembly of this case we could expect the State to avoid the traditional witnesses brought by normal prosecutions. We have not been disappointed in our predictions. The state has already won a pre-trial motion to bar the defense mentioning the absence of any witness from the States case.
So it comes as no surprise, not a single State investigator has been called, not a single FBI officer, only one local investigative detective, Chris Serino (who supported the defense), and now the profound possibility they wont even present the Seminole County Medical Examiner. So has the State actually even proven that Trayvon is indeed, deceased? Without the M.E. the ballistics are essentially moot where did the aforementioned bullet come from? They have not established it came from Trayvons body. Think about it.
Because of pre-trial motions in limine to exclude the defense bringing it up, OMara cannot mention it. Would/Will the jurors notice a missing M.E. = Trayvon blood tox. etc?

No, I think it is Friday morning, this morning.
The legal analyst for Oralando's Channel 9 said the other day that it's highly unlikely that the motion will be granted. After all,it's far to easy for members of the Black Panthers to get the judge's address, plate number, addresses of various places she frequents, etc. In fact, you can be sure they already have her "pre-sighted".
Does anyone know if the slim jim that was found was tested for prints????
Morning all. Will be doing some errands today. Do appreciate your play by play of what’s happening AND the lack of bickering when trying to catch up
I also will be away later and will also appreciate FReepers sharing what is being said as well as reaction and illuminating comments.
No, I think it is Friday morning, this morning.
eh, wot?
I haven’t proved that Trayvon Martin is dead yet. They must produce either a death certificate or testimony from the medical examiner.
Picture of judge with FIRE Cracker!
Heard two women discussing case. They said MOM should win cause he has better hair lol They were making fun of liberals not serious
The first i heard of the slim jim was the other day...and it was in bushes that Trayvon jumped out of...so your’s is a valid question.
If Trayvon had the slim jim and was looking to break into a car...just saying
Freegards
LEX
I hope not! George Zimmerman needs to be acquitted. A mistrial means a 2nd trial and a free try for the state.
In my fantasy world, by noon we’d see the Headline News panel agreeing that Sybrina Fulton was turning out to be another surprisingly effective witness for the Defense.
Charges dismissed is not the same as mistrial.
The medical examiner will testify.
The defense can mention witnesses not called by the state, provided the defense calls the witness.
I wondered the same thing...MOM could have at least asked the question, to shine more of a light on the slim jim’s existence.
BTW, St Travon’s nickname was....’Slim’.
yes. The court is scheduled to start at 8:30 this (Friday) morning.
Thanks for the ping:)
I think the talking head on WKMG is wrong when he says a motion for judgment of acquittal cannot take up self defense.
There was a long discussion here about whether it could be used to open a window.
I just passed by those posts so don’t know the resolution but it seems to me that Slim Jim should have been tested.
But then again, they really mishandled Martin’s shirt.
Two simple questions for Sybrina:
1]Isnt it true that your former husband, with whom Trayvon was living at the time, told you and others that he did not think it was his scream?
2]Isn’t it true that Trayvon was 6’2” tall?
The case isn’t going to be thrown out for lack of a death. It’s not going to be thrown out by the judge (directed verdict) for lack of evidence by the prosecution. The jury does not and will not know about Martin’s real past and personality. The prosecution, weak as their case may be, has thrown enough out there to have a shot at conviction. I think too many FReepers are making the same mistake we made in the 2012 election, assuming everyone else sees what we see.
