PHOENIX - The notoriously outspoken and often controversial Westboro Baptist Church has made several threats through social media intending to picket the funerals of the 19 firefighters killed in the Yarnell Hill wildfire near Prescott.
Westboro Baptist Church posted several tweets from their Twitter account within the last 48 hours, connecting the firefighter deaths to punishment for the world's apparent tolerance of homosexuality.
In a tweet posted at 2:56 p.m. Monday, the church said, "Westboro Baptist Church THANKS GOD for AZ fires that killed 19 firefighters!"
In another post, they retweeted Arizona Senator John McCain, adding their intent to picket: "WBC to picket! "@SenJohnMcCain: The City of Prescott has released the names of the Granite Mountain Hotshots who lost their lives yesterday."

Westboro Baptist doesn’t tweet, they “twit”.
Send their rabid butts to Syria! That will give them something to protest and keep them busy at the same time. Win/win, yeah buddy!
Because they arrive armed with cameras and lawyers.
I hate these Westboro fags. Hopefully, the motorcycle guys will show up.

The (former) homosexual leader of a ‘church’ group consisting of inbred in-laws is protesting against non-homosexual firefighters because they think God is punishing homosexuals by burning Heterosexual men.
Where are all those church burning Muslims when they are needed?

Are the Westboro “BAPTISTS” some kind of communist group masquerading as baptists to sully their name?
Strange how they’ve never shown up at any soldiers’ funerals in Harlem, East LA, Newark, Detroit, or, let’s get real here, ANY ‘hood that has a MLK Blvd running through it. Why is that? Cowards? Their puppet masters at the DNC ordered them to stay away? Or both?
Perhaps this one time, some of the Gitmo population could be transfered to Topeka, Kansas for trial. Somehow, some of this group could be informed that Fred Phelps was a Muslim who denounced Islam and became a ‘Christian’ preacher. Perhaps these folks could somehow escape custody in front of WBC and perhaps the authorities could re-arrest them only after they resolved their differences with Mr. Phelps and congregation. Or not.
Has anyone heard a word out of McCain expressing condolences for the deaths as they were from his neck of the woods in AZ?
