Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.
Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

Is there a history of conflict between Don West and the judge?
She seems so hostile toward him.
Might be worth some sleuthing through past cases to see if West has argued defense cases under her before.
Biggest part of State cross;.... the best person to id voice is who is familiar with voice their whole life. Lets see how they use it
Are they on the stand today? I’m leaving now. BBL!
I think it should be disallowed for them to be IN the courtroom if they are going to testify about anything. Of course, they could still be watching on the internet, against the judge’s directions (and they no doubt would).
We will find out later
I can’t STAND Nancy Grace. She showed up here for the “Jodi Arias” fiasco, of course making the news about herself and how ‘she locked eyes with Jodi’. These types want to make the news about themselves.
Doesn’’t the testimony about the scream coming from someone in fear of their life essentially prove Zimmerman’s innocence?
There is no way someone on top of someone else, pounding the bottom person, screams in fear of his life. Thus the person on the bottom was almost certainly the screamer.
And since the screams had characteristics that are only created when a person is in fear of their life, doesn’t that mean the FBI voice expert is testifying that Zimmerman WAS in genuine, unmistakable fear for his life? He just provided scientific, physical evidence concerning Zimmerman’s state of mind - because the screams could ONLY come from someone overpowered with fear.
Tell me she didn't hear Tray saying "You got a problem"....loud and clear....
That is right. WFTV is biased.
Have they established the trajectory of the bullet?
The emotion tied to them is about all prosecution has left. That and a Crump tantrum.
I would be shocked if there were a conviction. So long as the morons making threats on twitter dial it down.
Good.
Recess! Race to the monkey bars!!!! ;-)
They think Sabrina Fulton is up next to claim the screams were angel Trayvon.
Ok, thanks all. I think that Treyvons parents saying it was Treyvon screamning is a given ..and to be expected....and therefore discounted by the jury. But, now I see how this also helps that coming scenario....
Good call. There are many other obnoxious o-hole trolls here too.
They get especially indignant and start screaming caricature right-wing epithets, like immediately calling one a troll for disagreeing with anything they’ve said, and saying to get out of mom’s basement like we talked about OWS freaks a while back. One likes to aggressively rave about how learned and great AC is for having published MANY best-sellers, when AC was outed as not being much of a conservative more than a year ago and posting her pictures is no longer considered obligatory.
They seem to especially enjoy attacking me — plenty of recent history here.
I’ve been complaining for a couple of years how thoroughly FR has been infiltrated. New moderators here a little more than a year ago, too.
Sad.
Speaking of voodoo, that half-Haitian Rachel Jeantel sure did bring a bunch of it into the courtroom, did anyone catch that stuff she was doing?
But then too....we don’t know how hard it was raining.
And they can’t seem to help outing themselves over anything racist or gay.
can be raised later after a not guilty verdict in civil context. The not guilty would be admissible. There is no more money to be mined here.
