Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

The only thing I would have done different than Zimmerman was empty the 9 mm into the thug. Just to make sure he didn’t get up.

I think the Feb 29 interview was just a routine "apply the pressure" to see if the admitted shooter cracks.

As far as Serino's recommendation to charge, I think he knew what he wrote was bogus, and that a grand jury would no bill. Serino might as well have justified the charge by saying Zimmerman broke the underpants gnome rule. I don;t think Serino thought this case would get to a courtroom. he thought it would get to a grand jury, and stop there.

No, this interview is before Crump, and 12 days before Serino sends the investigation results to Wolfinger. Serino is following a routine, no particular public pressure, just the usual pressure of needing to come up with a coherent explanation for the public.

They did their best to trip him up, and it didn’t work. The Detective even said they lied to him (about having some video on Trayvon’s phone) to try and trip him up.

Serino’s interrogation was hard to hear along with those screams from the 911 call. I wonder if the screams were just as hard to hear during the interrogation. No wonder the screams didn’t sound like him to him.

My mom equipped me with a pair of those lefty scissors in elementary school. The problem was, using scissors was not one of my numerous left handed talents. Those crummy lefty scissors sure were uncomfortable to use with my right hand! (I was apparently to dumb at that age to point out they were wrong-handed)

Not that Crump had anything to do with the interview at this point but he was engaged prior to this interview, right?

Yes ladies of the jury, George Zimmerman had every reason to be in fear for his life the night Trayvon Martin was grounding and pounding the "white-ass cracker's" head into the concrete sidewalk, and then discovered a firearm was present. The defense now rest its case.
