Pretty much a summary of leftism in general.
Most of these lefties are assumptive believers in evolution - I wonder how they explain how homosexuality could be “normal” when it is an evolutionary dead end.
A lot of problem behavior traits have a biological basis: propensity to addiction, depression, impulsivity, rage - and people should still try to rise above them and exhibit control, and those who encourage them to exert control are not bigots.
Pedophilia may well have a biological basis to some degree - a disproportionate number of pedophiles have low intelligence, short stature, low set ears - something not right there.
Sexual aggression, even to the point of rape - strong biological and evolutionary basis. Maybe not a particular gene but a suite of genes.
So what do we excuse?
