There was a mass slaughter of yellow jackets in FL recently. The largest nest ever documented with more than a million bees and hundreds of queens was totally killed off in one day. There was no memorial and not a tear shed. Sad that a prehistoric site with an ancient hive could be obliterated by a pest service with not one cry of "Shame."

As much as I think Memorial Service for dead bees is liberal softheadedness, there is a problem, worldwide, with the disappearance of bees due to pesticides and parasitic mites. The disappearance of bees is alarming because of their importance to agriculture....

WELL, ACTUALLY, the bees probably deserve a monument more than 90% of current politicians do - and they are pretty “liberal” about naming things after themselves after WE pay for them!!!!!

One bee does more productive work in one day than a Congress full of politicians and attorneys and an office full of Washington Bureaucrats does in a YEAR!!!!
