Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Zimmerman is bein railroaded
“Regardless of whether or not Zimmerman acted in self defense, a large segment of the population, particularly the black population, are demanding Zimmerman be punished. And if they don’t have their demands satisfied, it is possible they might riot,” writes a poster at the Aesops Retreat forum. “So would it be appropriate to consider potential riots when deciding on whether or not to prosecute Zimmerman? Isn’t this sick? To think our country has devolved to the point that there is even a consideration of ignoring law to satisfy the blood thirst is disgusting.

If people in the community are afraid they are going to be maimed harmed and killed by the black populace if he is found not guilty...then why is it so hard to believe that Zimmerman might have been in fear for his life.
I know this is way early, but if the trial continues as it is now, I don’t know if the defense should even put on a case. They may have nothing to gain by doing so.
Yes, I completely agree. I was pointing out that the way the neighbor said it, in my opinion, sounded like George was not in anyway remorseful. And my point is also is that all depends on how George said it....the tone, the deflections, the speed, etc. I did not like the way the neighbor said it....it sounded damaging to me and I wish the Defense would of dissected that with that witness.
Drugs. Btw right before this incident the Stanford cvs had records held for an enormous amount of OxyContin Seven times the dosage for every man woman and child in town. Any of you close by have a follow up of who was collecting those perscriptions?
