Today, June 28th, is DAY #15 (of 3rd week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case. [Yesterday] … it was simply not a very good day at all for the prosecution. The primary State witnesses today were Rachel Jeantel, Jenna Lauer, and Selma Mora.
The first had her credibility substantively destroyed, the second was powerfully–almost humiliatingly–co-opted by the defense, and the third provided testimony entirely consistent with the defense’s theory of lawful self-defense. (continue reading)

Yeah, cause the implication from the left will be....you have to be nuts or mentally unstable to carry a gun around with you...much less to actually USE it in defense of your life.

It’s already happening re: costs of electricity skyrocketing. The only way I can afford ac during the hottest months is by saving money from the cooler months when I’m using very little electricity and applying it in the hot months. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to afford it NOW. And that balanced billing BS is a scam. It also defeats the whole purpose of conserving and cutting back on usage.

I am guessing George hasn’t been out jogging or to martial arts classes, since everyone would be concerned with his safety. Couch potatoes don’t generally look fit. I can see why he looks fatter.

I was doing that too. When the kids weren’t in the house, jacking up the high temp on the AC and not using any heat during the winter (except that one really cold snap in jan).

It is a sham. And a shame.
Unless I remember something else (been a looong week), the defense pre-empted that in opening statements by quoting testimony from the gym owner that Zimmerman never sparred, he just came in and hit the bags. The gym owner also described him as “soft”, and that he would never consider putting him in a ring for an actual fight.
Regardless, since when is a street ambush the same as the Octagon? It has zero relevance in a self-defense case where the ambushed party had a reasonable fear for his life, and acted within his rights to defend himself.
Sounds as if WESH is trying to be reasonable while WFTV is for the state. Someone needs to remind them the burden of proof is on the state.

You’re absolutely correct. They’re secretly hoping that Z will get off so they can continue to ‘cash in’ on this bogus incident. All that bad-parenting guilt needs to be assuaged by something. Might as well be piles of money. Oh wait. They probably have no guilt. Yet another bit of irony.
There will be no riots. The Scheme Team and the prosecution will be hiding under rocks from embarrassment and pointing fingers at each other.
