National Cathedral Rings Bells to Cheer Gay Marriage

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) — The National Cathedral is pealing its church bells, along with some other Washington churches, to celebrate the Supreme Court’s decisions on gay marriage.

Cathedral spokesman Richard Weinberg said the bells rang at noon Wednesday for 45 minutes to an hour. Bells also rang at other Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian, Unitarian and other Christian churches

There are conservative Presbyterians as well. I wish they wouldn’t say Presbyterians support these evil things, when they mean the Presbyterian Church US.

I don't understand why everybody (of a conservative, Christian persuasion) always blames "us" for the sad state of affairs we're in. Even when we win legislative victories or bills to support traditional marriage or pro-life, it is only a matter of minutes before a lawsuit will be filed with a like-minded leftist, anti-God, anti-Christian, anti-American judge or appeals court. 52% of Californians vote for a marriage amendment, and it's overturned by state judges, 9th Court of Appeals & a homo Federal judge AND then the SCOTUS tells the 52% they have no standing. Not to sound blasphemous, but we are in Satanic battles & wars and we could use a little help from "upstairs". I hope we win the final battle & war in the end, but so far we are losing 98% of every legislative battle followed by a court ruling. I'm sick of it!
