A jury of six women, five of them white and the other a minority, was picked Thursday to decide the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer who says he shot an unarmed black teenager, Trayvon Martin, in self-defense.

Just on Meagan Kelly, she has already tried and convicted George, speaking of her overall coverage of George Z.
No question about it, and she also has phony defense attorneys on, the 2 main guys she has on are both prosecutors at heart, perhaps they defended someone once
I have no respect for M Kelly
I have not watched Megan Kelly in a few days. I had to take
a break from Fox’s Big Brother moments.
Some women yes, I agree..but after looking at that list of jurors I feel better..except for the Hispanic woman the jury composite doesnt look half bad..Zimmerman’s attorney is absolutely brilliant, he is in good hands
When I first heard the news, spontaneously said to my
friends. Is that going to be a fair jury as his peers.
Many women do not like men to be conferential for reasons they believe in.
I think you're right. There is a large flea market across the street. Think I'll park there.
Bring a ladder.
I was able to watch Omara today. He was excellent. The women aren’t air heads. One really needs to have listened to their responses to Omara’s questions to get a sense of what they each bring. Note the following:
B-37: She used to have concealed weapons permit, but let it lapse. Her husband also has one.
E-6: Her husband has guns
E-40: She described herself as a safety officer, is married to a chemical engineer. Well versed in cell phone technology.
I have been following this case very closely. The state’s case is fatally weak. I’ve moved my odd up to now 80% acquittal, 20% hung jury on manslaughter, a lesser included. No way they will get murder 2.
Women can be a lot different on juries than you imagine.
I was on a jury for a child molestation case (no rape, no physical evidence). First vote it was me voting to convict, 11 to acquit.
Took 4 hours but I convinced everyone to vote to convict; by FAR the hardest to convince were the 7 women - they all thought the victim was lying (and I understand from other lawyers that this is surprisingly common).
So after the verdict we found that the guy had a prior for molesting a girl on a playground; he had med the mother of the victim in our trial in prison for that, but we were not told during the trial what he was in prison for. The women thanked me for persuading them to convict him.
The perp (old guy) freaked out in a rage after the verdict, and then dropped dead of a heart attack the next day.
Actually, the prosecution threw out the black men.
One of the women let her CCL expire but had one and her husband still has one. Bottom line: it has to be unanimous or it’s over.
with what i know to date george would walk. the first i heard of this was a black teen eatting skittles was shot dead in his fathers sub division by a Jew (zimmerman). i was horrified until i began to really follow the case. i just dont think the guy on top would be screaming help help. but the prosecutor doesnt want common sense to get in the way.
i pray my CWP gets here before the verdict.
A tall ladder. Maybe I can find some freaks from MSNBC to go bother.
I actually listened to the voi dire. These women aren’t going to be swayed by appeals to emotion. It’s a well-chosen jury.
You can carry a loaded handgun in your glovebox without having a concealed weapon permit.
last i read woman are by far the ones getting background checks and applying for CWP. i am one of them. after casey anthonj and OJ i no longer have faith in our justice system. if he is found guilty an innocent man goes to jail. if not guilty our cities will burn.
Crump’s already at it in his typical manner. Released a statement that played the race card without actually mentioning race. Something about how the case will show whether you can get a fair trial despite the makeup of the jury.
Interesting take about two of the jurors that were selected,

The process was moving along smoothly when defense attorney Mark O’Mara piped up.
“I would now ask the state to give a race-neutral reason why they have struck four white
women in a row,” he said.
In response, Circuit Judge Debra S. Nelson asked Assistant State Attorney Bernie de la Rionda
to give his race- and gender-neutral explanations for each strike.
He did, but the judge rejected the prosecutor’s argument in the case of two of the
women both of whom ended up on the jury.

It’s a matter of a jury of your peers.
