Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said if he were president, he would have intervened in Syria much sooner than President Obama did to identify the “reasonable” rebels opposed to the regime of President Basher Assad.

“It behooved us to kind of identify whether there was any elements there within Syria fighting against Assad that we could work with—reasonable people that wouldn’t carry out human rights violations and could be part of building a new Syria. We failed to do that,” Rubio told Jonathan Karl on ABC News’ “This Week.” …

Obama announced this week that the Assad regime had crossed the “red line” and the U.S. now has conclusive evidence the country used chemical weapons. …

I don’t know the guy but I remember many FReepers telling us how lucky we are to have Rubio...But now, I know enough about him that he’ll never get a vote from me, for anything...

He's been sucking up to the neocons since Day 1. The Bushies still control the party. Probably wise strategy for him. He'll likely be on the GOP ticket in ‘16. If you care about your freedom, you will have left the USSA by then ...

WOW! That last sentence is absolutely right on. Also these elites will get their candidate no matter what 80% of the (R) want. This whole election process is a TOTAL sham.

Now, I see why one of my co-workers say that Rubio reminds her of a (bad) used car salesman. Talks very fast, spins the line while smiling. Snowden said that the gang of 8 were lying about the spy program listening to calls/taking the content of mail. Wouldn’t it be something, if he proves his claims.

It’s not just Rubio. Fox News was falling all over itself this weekend beating the drums for war against Syria - every single program. Insanity.

Why don’t you, McCain and Grahamnesty drop in on them and take Cheney with you. I am sure you’ll get ‘welcomed as liberators’

either that or all go duck hunting with Cheney

Hey, Marco (Polo!),

A very wise person recently said, “Let Allah sort it out.” You, on the other hand, are a moron.

Only if the US Constitution prohibits recall. AFAICS, it does not and the Tenth Amendment applies. Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington, and Wisconsin are the states with some manner of recall availability on their books.

<....”Geez, this guy has gone from Conservative hero to RINO tool in record time”....>

That’s how it works on FR.... We leave them all in the ditch and end up with the likes of McCain and Romney.

Moreso wouldn’t it be something to learn that Snowden was planted by this administration to divert the attention away from zero using the NSA to ‘mega-gather’ data to win the election and retain his power....

and....that his media friends gladly went along with us on the NSA hype to protect him, once again, so we’d stay otherwise occupied..instead of going after o for voter fraud...this while he kisses us all goodbye and prepares for his vacation.

The left reminds us who created Osama Bin Ladin, and how at every chance.
So, exactly why are they helping in Syria again?
