If you were listening - on either side of the issue - Rubio told you exactly what you wanted to hear.

This is what disgusts me about politicians - all of them. Every single one, right and left, will lie right to your face for power. As absolutely pure genius as the system of government is that our forefathers provided us, I'm afraid even it cannot defend itself from politicians with no character.

Rush is most certainly NOT defending Rubio on this, but is rather taking him to task on it every time I have heard it come up.

As he said again yesterday, the bill is a bunch of crap (my paraphrase), he can’t believe Rubio is supporting it, and he wishes Rubio could extricate himself from it and would regain his senses.

I have the FR thread from 2013 in another window...I needed to refresh my memory re: Rubio. That smirking little liar...when caught, said he should have been "more artful in the use of terms." IOW, he should have been a better liar.

I'll never trust him.
