With a headline like this, I find myself thinking From one traitor to another. Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH), another one of those Republicans that should probably be labeled a Democrat, referred to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden as a traitor and called his actions a giant violation of the law. I actually chuckled a bit because this man has not even referred to the current occupant of the White House as a traitor.
Boehner appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday declaring, Hes a traitor. The president outlined last week that these are important national security programs to help keep Americans safe and give us tools to help fight the terrorist threat we face. The disclosure of this information puts Americans at risk.
Boehner didnt go anywhere near the Constitution, specifically the Fourth Amendment. If I could just add, the spinelessness of this House Speaker and the treasonous actions of Barack Obama put Americans at risk!
Boehner went on to say that Congress was briefed on the programs that were being used and that attorneys were always present to protect the privacy of Americans.
There is heavy oversight of this program, by the House Intelligence Committee on a bipartisan basis and the Senate Intelligence Committee, Boehner said. And thats why I feel comfortable that we can operate this program and protect the privacy rights of our citizens.
What he did not note was whether warrants were issued for all snooping. That would be found in the Fourth Amendment Mr. Boehner, you know, part of that document you took an oath to defend and support?

He is a drunk and a failure for us conservatives.
Yeah, but he gets to eat in the White House and play golf with dumbass . . . do you? Huh? See? Nyah! Nyah!
I hope you don't think that we'll accomplish that through our established civil processes. That horse has left the barn.
Boner is the traitor.
While technically breaking the law, one has to go with the greater good.
If Snowden is taken alive, I hope he took the time before coming forward to not only know where the skeletons are but to be able to prove it.

Are these people traitors or heroes?
did he take an oath to the country or to the government?
And he get’s to sniff and chat with the Wookie.
The left cannot survive without the complicit useful idiot.
I try to temper my comments, but I’m sure I make some that could cause someone to think I’m operating on a hair trigger. Never mind I’ve got a relatively clean record for my 62 years on the planet.
It’s sad what is happening to our nation.
No, there isn’t a damn thing you can do about it. None of us can evidently.
I hear ya...
Well, why not. As a matter of public policy no. Then you get the Obama team from hell, and all of a sudden all sorts of things are happening which are outside the scope of Constitutional activity. One of their flying monkeys could dip in and do as they please.
Snowden did the right thing.
We all clearly show know that the evil left, Boehner and the rest of the GOP-e are enemies of Liberty.
The rule of law no longer applies? Do whatever you feel is right?
I don’t know the answer, but Snowden is not a hero to me. I don’t think it should be that much of a revelation that privacy is long lost, outpaced by technology. And since so many need to share all their life’s details via FaceBook and the like, it hardly matters to many.
Maybe we need a few 1000 more laws from our rulers. Does the rule of law apply, when only some of the citizens must follow it? Well maybe you are right, why should he be held to any standard.
Wouldn’t it be funny if a lot of politicians are terrified that the dirt that Obama’s gang have been using to control them might actually get released?
It will signify the reaching of a tipping point wherein a majority of the citizenry (even the so-called low information crowd) became aware that our "benevolent" government was totally out of control.
The necessity of resistance, whether via civil disobedience or otherwise, will become widely accepted.
It's time to call this what it is: Tyranny.
And as such, it is our duty to resist it, and ultimately eliminate it.
Shut up, Boehner.
