Boehner is the traitor, not Snowden.
You noticed also?
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
I’m not aware of the “court” decision you reference which renders this obsolete.
The courts haven’t heard it. Because it was a seekrit.
Tell me, where do YOU think government derives it’s power to act?
No Norm... they are probably lying about being Conservative. Probably republican vermin or dim double agents.

If it was just to make him see reality I’d agree. It’s more to get lurkers to think about this before posting liberal garbage like his.
Conservatives bemoaned no one coming forward and exposing the admin’s corruption from within. When someone does what happens? This thread. Conservatives cannot be trusted today. Because most aren’t. Almost like it was orchestrated that way huh?
Absolutely.

What Snowden has released so far has been common knowledge for years now and not classified as such. Specifics about sources and methods would lead to other levels of classification but from what I’ve seen those specifics have not been revealed. I’ve been using exactly this topic as a discussion point regarding large databases in my database classes for a number of years. Any terrorists would be idiots not to know and understand that the U.S. is tracking their communications. Hell! der Fuehrer and his propagandists have leaked more sensitive information just talking about tracking Bin Laden than this guy ever could.
The real question here is not are they feeding all of our calls and emails through processors; the real question that Snowden brings up is how far beyond the severe restrictions on using these tracking methods has this criminal administration gone? I believe that what Snowden has revealed is that they have thrown away the restrictions in order to snoop on and profile ordinary americans for political and control purposes. That is a problem!
When they “read” all of this data, they look for connections to known terrorist sources and analyze patterns for closer scrutiny. If they apply this to citizens and their connections to political groups like the Tea Party then they are (and they probably are) breaking the restrictions in the law.
For me, they probably have me in their metadata pool anyway since some of the muslim students I have had have allowed my email address to be tied into a couple of islamic sites. I block them but the links are still there. Another prominent source would be sites like this one where I regularly have bad things to say about der Fuehrer and his National Socialist Democrat Party.
So, to you guys out there; I know you’ve been watching/listening for years so you already know what I think of both islam and our administration. I don’t care if you know. Just keep doing the job of tracking potential and known terrorists WITHIN the restrictions of the law. Otherwise it may come back to bite you in the future.
Oh I agree. But to the world at large and freepers not paying attention, they ‘appear’ to be conservatives by their presence here.
I recognize that there’s a trade-off between security and liberty. Ben Franklin was against our government having a standing army. Do you agree with him about that?
Obama is not a traitor. He has been very loyal to the country of his birth - even used US tax money to campaign for a new Constitution that institutes sharia there in Kenya, as his cousin Raila Odinga promised the thugs who put him in power.
The traitors are the AMERICANS who have allowed a communist-Islamist alliance to place a foreign usurper in our White House, to control all the mechanisms of the federal government and to threaten all other systems into abandoning the rule of law.
Roger Ailes comes immediately to mind. The sheeple just go by what they hear, and most still believe we have conservative reporters who will keep watch and report anything major. I visited my parents this past weekend and although they don’t like Obama they are clueless about how bad off this country is right now, because they don’t hear anything on Fox about the biggest lawlessness.
I know Ailes was threatened, but he could stand to borrow the balls - and the commitment - of the guy that Boehner is calling a “traitor”. They all could.
I agree with what the Constitution says about both. That is all that SHOULD matter. The constitution. See Amendment 4.
We need your credit card information and everything you say, think, and do, everywhere you go, what you believe, any prayers you might post, what groups you belong to, who you voted for or who you plan on voting for, how many abortions youve had, how many guns you own, who you donated to, the names and all communications of all your family and associates, where you worship, everything your kids say think or do, when their band practice is over, all the photos from their slumber parties, vacations, etc....the whole enchilada...
Not to mention what books you read. And if you have a problem with any of that, the govt (that includes you too, Boehner) considers you a traitor.
Ben Franklin-Those who surrender freedom for security will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.
Shoot me some "private" mail about it. ;)
I understand. It’s difficult to watch these so called protectors of freedom to become so weak to their oath and more loyal to the corrupt system that they have corrupted. John Boehner has betrayed his own party’s platform. He will be one of the most hated republicans (distrusted) ever over history. The ABC blog has a majority of negative comments to him already. These Bush people defending spying will do anything to validate Bush versus seeing this overreach has gone too far. The left are defending this overreach to protect Obama. The people speaking out from all walks of life are the patriots on this issue. Imo.
Over the course of this, I noticed several of the now defenders of Bhoner’s position (they beat him to it actually) have also show up slagging us evil birthers and were screaming Romney supporters who defend him to this day.
I am not sporting my surprised face at the pattern.
Oh...a few PDSers as well.

Perhaps you disagree with the FISA court's interpretation of the Constitution. Perhaps you disagree with the Congress which passed the Patriot Act regarding their Constitutional power to pass that law. Perhaps you disagree with the presidents (GWB and Obama) which thought that the Patriot Act was constitutional enough to warrant their signatures approving that law.
Obviously, there are others who disagree with your Constitutional analysis. Join the Club. Like I said, they disagree with me about Medicare. Life goes on.
I am sure a Jew on a train somewhere in Poland circa 1940ish thought the same thing. Turns out he was wrong.
See the Patriot Act passed by the Congress. See the presidential signatures. See the FISA court's order.
The best way to stop this collection of phone records would be to cut off its funding. Congress can do that. Call your Congressman. Don't be surprised if he disagrees with you about all this.
