I suppose you haven't noticed…

There is nothing in my post that would reasonably lead you to suppose that.

I have watched our government turn 1917 Red since the middle 60's. You and I no doubt agree the trend continues apace.

In fact, let’s start using the “term 1917 Red” in order to reverse the Red-Blue political description that was foisted on us by a PC, agenda-driven MSM. Do you think it adopted that scheme by accident, or by design?

I read your About Page and do not disagree with anything you wrote. Suggest you read mine and see if you would continue to "suppose".

If you re-read my most recent post, you will note I did not disparage his behavior in the slightest. My point was that he picked a potentially self-defeating and inefficient time to launch an attack, while at the same time demonstrating a serious disregard of rules.

Quite different if he had been accepted into one of the Ivy League institutions. Not very smart or discrete behavior, however, for an applicant to the USNA where one is required and expected to stringently conform to the rules 24/7 for several years.

As you may know, while military officers are graded on their initiative, they are usually downgraded on their reckless disregard of established rules and procedures.

I hope we have a chance to follow this saga. If they indeed let him in (perhaps only to avoid negative PR), he may well receive extra “scrutiny” to assure he is capable of following rules…such that induce him to give it up after the first few weeks

When the basic institutions of your country have all been corrupted beyond redemption, obeying or adhering to rules that were designed for a moral, loyal people, is foolish, as they're now tools to bind one into servitude to evil.

Naturally, one has to find a balance in such a time as ours. We're not quite at the moment of complete breakdown of the civil order, but we're close enough that every person needs to recognize when their observance and respect for our laws, rules, regulations, etc., is being used to diminish or enslave them.

When the civil authorities have become willing henchmen of an elite class of masters, it's time for the citizens to realize that the compact has been broken, and that they're no longer obligated to uphold their end of the agreement.
