A Tel Aviv District Court judge has resigned following a public furor over comments he made in court that some girls "enjoy being raped."
Nissim Yeshaya was presiding over a hearing on the rape of a 13-year-old Israeli girl by four Palestinian youths when he made the comment. He apologized and said the remark was taken out of context.

just jees...
Whoopie Goldberg should be his publicist.
“He apologized and said the remark was taken out of context.”
Ah...the fake apology. In what context did he mean it?
if you are going out might as well go out with a bang
There’s no excuse for that. I don’t care the context, it sounds like he said it in court, in front of a 13 year old who had been raped by four boys. That’s just filthy.
Is “Nissim” an Israeli name?
taken out of context? i can’t see it in context in anyway.
He’s confusing sex with rape. That’s an entirely different drink.
But not rape, rape?
Did the Earth tip off it’s axis?
How the hell can such a comment be taken out of context? There is NO contect in which such a vile comment would be acceptable.
contect = context
It means ‘miracles’.

...On Monday morning, a judicial review panel assembled in the Tel Aviv District Court to discuss at the Young womans appeal of a decision of the Defense Ministry not to recognize her rape as an act of terrorism, as she had requested.
In Israel, a Victim of Terrorism is a person injured as a result of a terrorist act committed for nationalistic reasons, in Israel or abroad.
Victims of terrorist attacks are eligible for compensation, pursuant to the Compensation for Victims of Hostilities Act of 1970.
During the hearing, the young womans attorney, Roni Aloni-Sadovnik, a well known feminist lawyer, tried to convince the panel of judges, headed by Retired Tel Aviv District Court Judge Nissim Yeshaya, that there are cases of rape whose circumstances justify recognition as an act of terrorism committed for nationalistic reasons.
Attorney Aloni-Sadovnik later described the scene that ensued to Israel Army Radio: In the midst of the passionate debate, he (Judge Yeshaya) suddenly said aloud, in earshot of everyone present, There are some girls who enjoy being raped....
I agree a really stupid thing to say.
However, if analyzed carefully it is probably accurate from a technical standpoint.
For it to be completely inaccurate, it's opposite would have to be true. "There are no girls who enjoy being raped."
There are something like 3B females on the planet. Like men, some of them are pretty twisted.
It is not a bit unlikely that out of the 3B there are two (some) who like being raped. Ignoring the problem that if she is liking it you can't really call it against her will and therefore it isn't really rape.
I quite agree that in the context the comment was delivered it was utterly inappropriate.
And another one hurls himself into the rape pit.
Lol.
