In a classic case of "now you tell me," the Associated Press reports today that a whole swath of people who like their health insurance might be losing it. You see, ObamaCare requires all Americans get the equivalent of a Cadillac health plan. Millions of us dont have Cadillac plans, which means that we are about to be in violation of government policy.
State insurance regulators say many people who buy their own health insurance could get surprises this fall: cancellation notices because their policies aren't up to the basic standards of President Barack Obama's overhaul.
These people, and some small businesses, will have to find replacement plans _ and that has some state officials worried about consumer confusion.
The changes don't seem to square with one of the president's promises: "If you like your health care plan, you'll be able to keep your health care plan."
Can you believe this is happening in America? The government is telling us what kind of health insurance coverage we have to purchase.
Naturally, this is nothing more than a disguise for Obama's wealth distribution scheme. He forces the young and healthy to buy coverage they dont need in order to subsidize Cadillac coverage for those who neither need it or can afford it.

Tough sh*t.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
The Republicans should be tarred and feathered for letting this happen. And they are all for it now.
Ping!
They know full well that Obama and the Dems own this mess. Man, are they going to be in for a surprise...sooner rather than later.
Never neglect to call out Traitor Roberts on the issue.
Yep, the gov't will soon have the capability to turn off your individual power if you stop supporting The Won.
RomneyCARE => ObamaCARE => IRS-DEATHCARE
Good point.
I think the scenario that they actually want is to force everybody into the exchanges in order to totally cut the insurance companies out. Pelosi made it quite clear that the whole issue was those evil insurance companies. The law was written so that bureaucrats could make writing policies unprofitable.
This is one reason that they are not concerned about low wage earners being limited to 30 hour weeks. This automatically dumps them into the exchanges where they “are supposed to be”.
This is less about income redistribution and more about killing the middle class and creating a dependent lower class like they have in Australia.
Single payer is the final solution. Obama told the SEIU as much before the 2008 campaign cranked up. The speech is on youtube.
I tried too, but apparently the more clueless and uninformed they are, the smarter they actually think they are.
Especially the older fools that you would expect better of.
I look forward to sticking my finger in a few faces and saying “ Ha Ha ass h0le!!!”. I’m just funny that way
Many Will Have Insurance Cancelled Due to ObamaCare? But how can that be? Our Glorious Leader promised that we could keep our existing policies!
Somehow, it must be Bush’s fault.
I’ve already decided to kill the SOB who won’t give me the care I need if it is life threatening. WTF, might as well take someone with me.
Right now he lives on Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington D.C.
The trouble is that there is nothing that we can do about Roberts. However, we can try to elect as many conservative Senators as possible to prevent Obama from appointing any more Sotomayors and Kagans.
Scalia and Kennedy will each turn 80 before the end of Obama's term. Be afraid, be very afraid.
However, fixing the blame and making it stick can help in the long run too.
Roberts apparently can be affected by public (and likely some private) opinion.
You are the one that is going to be surprised when you hear their reasons for why they lost their healthcare coverage.
