Ezekiel tells us that God, referring to Magog, the nation that will lead all of the other powers of darkness against Israel, will come out of the north. Biblical scholars have been saying for generations that Gog must be Russia. What other powerful nation is to the north of Israel? None. But it didnt seem to make sense before the Russian revolution, when Russia was a Christian country. Now it does, now that Russia has become communistic and atheistic, now that Russia has set itself against God. Now it fits the description of Gog perfectly. [Ronald Reagan, 1971]
Following a dubious linguistic theory, the paperback writers of pop prophecy have almost universally claimed that Meschech and Tubal are Moscow and Tobolsk again pointing the theological finger at the Soviet Union. When Late Great was released in 1970, the Cold War was raging and the identification seemed to be exceedingly probable notwithstanding the fact that several dissident scholars such as Dr. Edwin Yamauchi of Miami University flatly stated the names could not refer to Russia, Moscow, and Tobolsk.
With the Cold War long since having been ended, and with Russia back to being a Christian nation, unfortunately Russias popularity hasnt improved much within most Christian circles. Lindsay started a tidal wave of groundless Russian xenophobia that has been further driven by most controlled preachers and televangelists. Perhaps this is an intentional part of Satans great plan of counterfeiting all of the major prophecies in Revelation and Ezekiel.
Go back to whatever it is that you are doing and kindly go away. There is absolutely NOTHING in your “theories” that is going to convince me otherwise. I have been a Christian for nearly 50 years. I have read more than a few Bible verses and books on the End Times. Your “theories” do not interest me in the least. Go back to your whatever you call them beliefs.
Oh. I looked at your home page posted here. Now I understand where your theories come from. Sorry, I am not going back to the Mama Church of Mary.
