Anyone hear the beginning of Rush's show? He will be taking a "vacation" starting tomorrow, and said he'll return on Wednesday, June 5th. I think the sub hosts will be Mark Steyn (starting tomorrow) and Doug Urbanski.

Rush hasn't taken a vacation in a long time... I have to say I'm impressed. I'm grateful he didn't take any time off in the months before the 2012 election.

I'm a huge El Rushbo fan, but I think a week off will probably do him some good. Some of his recent shows have been less than stellar, IMO. Never thought I'd say that...

Saw Chris Wallace's interview with Bob Dole this weekend on Fox News Sunday. Bob doesn't look long for this world...

I was impressed that the wheelchair-bound Dole still greets "Honor Flight" WWII veterans when they spend the day at the WWII monument in DC. As frail as he is, he still makes it a priority to greet his fellow WWII veterans there.

Can't stand Dole's politics however...

three hours per day at his level is as tough as talk radio gets. No matter what he says somene is pissed offat what he says or how he saysit. No matter what he covers half the audience thinks he should have covered someting else.
