[[’That’s Not How It Works!’: Rep. Gowdy Objects to Top IRS Official Taking the Fifth]]
Well good, at least he ‘objects’- that solves EVERYTHING-
[[WTF is wrong with that guy?]]
He’s a politician
Beliefs belong in church.I believe Issa is merely a thief and a thug.
Opinions - conservative opinions - are what FR is about.
Trey Gowdy was the only MAN in that room today. God Bless him. PUT HIM IN CHARGE OF EVERYTHING.
[[Sounds like congress got played for the fool by the Obama administration once again]]
Standard proceedure-
[[They allowed this corrupt official to give a self serving speech and then let her walk out on them when she pleaded the fifth ammendment.]]
Yup- The fella that ‘objected’ shoudl have said “It doesn’t work like that- Sit your fat $%# back down and remain seated until told otherwise”
Again my two favorite Representatives were Jim Jordan(Ohio) and James Lankford(Oklahoma). They have the best way of direct, precise and no fumbling around when questioning a witness. Can you say” Vice Presidential Canadates, 2016”?
They both are hitting it out of the park!
[[Q: Is it true, Ms Lerner, that you were merely following orders you received from the White House?
A: I refuse to answer....
Q: Is it true, Ms Lerner, that the President himself ordered you to persecute groups that included the word Patriot in their names?
A: I refuse to answer...
Q: Is it true, Ms Lerner, that you received substantial cash payments from George Soros for accelerating the approval of political groups that he created?
A: I refuse to answer...]]
Excellent- that is EXACTLY what shoudl have been done because as Guiliani said last night- pleadign hte fifth means you’re guilty of something- and by her refusing very direct quesitons like that by pleadign fifth- she iwll in effect be tellign the world “I’m quilty as sin- but refuse to aNSwer because it will show that I am guilty too”
She shoudl have been FORCED to endure the ‘hot seat’ (provided the GOP could manage a tough session for once) for the reaminder of the day and even ionto following days- She certainlty loveds makign conservatives sweat when she ordered them targetted- she shoudl have been made to sweat too
0-Bama gives bonuses and promotions to the inept and downgrades heroes!
That's what Nixon's people thought too.... but they WERE popular in prison. And Obama's people will be popular in prison too.
Would you like to know what I think of you?
[[At a private company, if I was involved in an internal investigation and refused to fully cooperate and answer questions, I would be immediately terminated and all pension/benefits eliminated as I would have been discharged with cause.]]
Want ot get even sicker? She can’;t be fired by anyoen in washington- she has job security as a public official that protects her from being fired- washington can only ASK the IRS to puit her on leave (I’m assuming, with pay) but they can’t demand that she be fired-
That's what I thought too.
Much as I'd have loved to see Lerner have to stay in the hot seat today, on balance I think Issa's calculation was correct.
Issa, we have to remember, has been so successfully maligned by the Left that even posters here on FR parrot the Left's caricature of him (as a "thug" etc).
Issa came off today as relatively dispassionate, and as a gentleman. Merely by defying the MSM/Left's caricature, he won. So score round 1 for Issa. There are more rounds to come and Lerner will likely be forced to come back -- next time without being able to claim a blanket 5th.
Good call, MC.
woops posted too quick- So the Dear leader’s claim that he ‘fired’ miller was pure BS- The freak was due to retire, and voluntarily stepped down and on to some cushy safety net job-

From the link:
According to Republican Rep. Jim Jordan and White House visitor logs, former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman visited the White House 118 times in 2010 and 2011. This is the same time period when Tea Party groups were inappropriately targeted and intimidated by the IRS.
Mr. Issa is not a troll. Do you know anything about trolls?
>> Merely by defying the MSM/Left’s caricature, he won.
What did he win?
More importantly, what, specifically, did WE THE PEOPLE win?
In all of the hearings he has conducted, what has Darryl Issa ever accomplished, or “won”?
Maybe you should tell someone in a position of authority that someone here thinks republicans, including but certainly not limited to Mr. Issa, SUCK!
Hurry, hurry tell tell and the time I happened to join this website reveals my true motives :O
What I know is Daryl Issa is a chump who just got pumped.
