Kaitlyn Hunts parents insist that their daughter, a Central Florida high school senior, is being prosecuted for sex crimes only because her lover was another girl. The state attorney says that gender makes no difference; the age of the two girls is at the crux of the case.
Ms. Hunt, 18, is an adult. The girl with whom she allegedly had sexual encounters is 14...
Just before Christmas, they had a sexual encounter in a bathroom at Sebastian River High School. They had at least one more encounter there, according to the affidavit, and one in Ms. Hunts bedroom in January after the 14-year-old, a freshman, ran away from home.
The younger girls parents went to the police after learning from a coach, school employees and students that their daughter was having a relationship, according to a report from the Indian River County Sheriffs office. The parents information led to the investigation.

This one is a tough call — I could go either way on it.
When the whole gay thing became so public most of us said it wouldn't be long before people were defending pedophiles and what do you know, here you are!
This is an adult going after a child. Interesting that you don't see that as wrong.
“GET A ROOM” comes to mind.
First, you have an fairly normal lack of knowledge of history.
One of my hobbies is geneology. Turns out my great-grandmother got married at 13, and had my paternal grandmother at 14. My great-grandfather was 17 at the time.
This was not considered unusual.
Whether you like it or not, teens have sex, outside of marriage. They always have, and they always will. Heck, way back in the 1970s, we had a girl in my 8th grade class get pregnant. And the really amusing part is, they didn’t positively identify the father until AFTER the birth and a blood test: the girl admitted to sleeping with 5 different guys in a little over a week.
The fact is, BOTH girls are gay. And the prosecution, according to the reports, is at the request of the younger girl’s parents. I wonder if they would have demanded a prosecution if their daughter’s lover was a boy. . .
Well, as Howard Stern put it... “With lesbians, it’s ALL foreplay.”
I think the “Bill Clinton defense” should be adopted here....”I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” (insert girl for woman). Case closed.
Who cares. It's their PERSONAL lives. It's just an alternative lifestyle. Kids will be kids. It's just youthful experimentation. You can't get pregnant from a tongue lashing.
Why are homos attracted to bathrooms for sex? The ambiance? The bouquet(aroma)? The décor? I mean it's just so romantic an atmosphere. Is there a wine dispenser next to the tampon dispenser? Just wondering.
Its “newsworthy” because it is seen as a tool to hopefully develope support for lowering and eventuality abolishing age of consent laws.
This isn’t rocket science, and the leftist reporters are not terribly subtle or adept.
Other than the pierced nose, the big tat on the calf and the whole lesbian sex thing. :-)
You don’t see a problem here because you have personally embraced sexual perversion. An adult may sexually prey upon a fourteen year old and that is just fine to you.
“Whether you like it or not, teens have sex, outside of marriage. They always have, and they always will.”
That’s BullCarp. Up until the 60’s it was very rare for teens to have sex out of wedlock. True that there have always been a few sluts but they were the exception. Now after 50 years of the lefty mantra that teen sex is unavoidable it has become the rule.
This incident has gotten about 100 times as much PR as the Kermit Gosnell trial in its entirety. And not a single article has even hinted that the young girl's parents were right to be concerned about the predator who took advantage of her. NOT ONE.
Her parents ought to apologize to the 14 year old and tell their daughter not to perv on kids younger than her
You seem certain there was no predatory behaviour involved. How did you get such clairvoyant insight?
” But well see.”
Yes, we will.
The point that I am trying to make has nothing to do with guilt or innocence. It has to do with how the media will react and use this to further their agenda.
saliva?
That’s really not very accurate. Even the term ‘shotgun wedding’ came from before the 60’s
They were dating?
Yep. We've seen that on FR about 100 times. Boy does the tune change.
That's because the cute 26yo female teacher would use the Debra Lafave Defense: "I'm Too Pretty To Go To Jail!" And the jury would acquit.
This is not about who'd hit who. This is about the homosexual agenda. Please stay focused.

This isn't your great grandmother's time, and these two homosexuals aren't married. This is now, and and an 18 year old or older "adult" having sex with a minor is illegal. You should well know that as lifespans grew longer and the number of children born in a marriage declined, marriage at 13-14 years old was no longer seen as necessary or even beneficial.
Sex outside of marriage used to be looked down upon by society in your great grandmother's time, your grandparent's time, and perhaps your parent's time Not anymore, it is celebrated, especially if it is homosexuals engaged in sexual behavior.
Apparently, some here are okay with the moral fiber of society degrading below the level of animals, people acting to satisfy their physical lusts without regard to laws or morals or any other like standards.
That is to be expected. The separation between those who appreciate and abide by God's standards and those who do not has grown more distinct in recent years.
