Heres a list of news media members who have been under Washingtons watch: The Associated Press: Telephone records for a number of lines over a period of weeks were taken by the feds. WND reported that the Obama administration said it pursued the news wires records because a double agent in the war on terror was compromised by a story.

Thank goodness that America's long national security nightmare is about to end, now that Fox News reporter James Rosen's capture is imminent! (Actually, DOJ on Monday denied any intent to prosecute Rosen, despite his engaging in a criminal conspiracy to report the news.)
It's been over 8 months since Islamic terrorists burned down our consulate in Benghazi and murdered an American ambassador and 3 other brave Americans, yet all the Obama administration has come up with are grainy photos and no arrests because of 'insufficient proof' to try the perps in a civilian court, so naturally priority No. 1 right now is protecting America from James Rosen.
(In fairness, Obama did hunt down the real perpetrator of Benghazi -- an obscure film maker who had nothing to do with Benghazi. Meanwhile, the actual perps have been ID'd but Obama won't drone 'em because the beloved little darlings aren't U.S. citizens.)
Now the news is that the Justice Department, during its normal course of perusing reporters' personal emails, tracking their movements and seizing their home and office phone records, discovered that reporter James Rosen had engaged in the routine business of reporting.
DOJ prosecutors were shocked, stunned and dismayed that secret info the U.S. government had about a foreign country had leaked to a reporter. That just doesn't happen in Washington.
The super-duper top secret here was that North Korea would act negatively in reaction to more sanctions.
This was back in 2010.
This strangely made Fox News the first journalistic target of the Obama administration -- something no one could have seen coming.
Jay Carney yesterday reiterated the Obama administration's adoration and appreciation for an unfettered free press, as its spying on the AP and Fox News employees clearly shows. (Carney also said Obama had no knowledge of the spying until he saw it on Fox News.)
The media, roused from 5 uninterrupted years of self-induced coma, peppered Carney with actual questions about James Rosen, on the principle that, 'First they came for the right-wing, fascist knuckle-draggers at Fox News and I said nothing . . .'
From the Obama '08 campaign's hysterical attempt to censor Stanley Kurtz from airing (on WGN) stuff about Obama's past, to the attacks on the San Francisco Chronicle because of a video-recording of protesters at an Obama fundraiser, to the White House war on ABC's Jonathan Karl over the Benghazi scandal, to the White House war on CBS's Sharyl Attkisson over the Benghazi and Fast and Furious scandals, to the administration's coordinated attacks on Bob Woodward over an article on the sequester -- all rank among the most memorable in Obama's long history showing his adoration for an unfettered free press.
Obama buddy Eric Holder last week said DOJ had no choice but to rip into confetti every convention on how leak probes are handled because the AP leak case involved one of the Worst. Leaks. In. American. History. So the Rosen case must be one of those, too. Lots of worst leaks in American history going on during this administration, for some reason.
And plenty of administration staffers going rogue. You have the Cincinnati group of IRSers (supposedly) going rogue. You have White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler going rogue in (supposedly) hiding Obama's IRS scandal from Obama. She tells chief of staff Denis McDonough and other senior aides and all are careful to neglect to mention any of it to Obama. You have the most powerful wing of the Democrat Party -- the IRS -- going rogue on the IRS, with tax-exempt division honchette Lois Lerner at a lawyers' conference planting a probing question to herself.
Holder said just last Wednesday that "With regards to the potential prosecution of the press for disclosure of material, that is not something that I've ever been involved in, heard of or would think would be a wise policy." Oh, dear. Then who was the agent painting a target on James Rosen even after the government knew who the State Department leaker was? Must've been yet another rogue. The White House maintains that at least it's all in the interests of guarding the nation's top secrets. Indeed, imagine if, right after the bin Laden raid, some bastard had leaked too many details about it, even outing the unit involved in the raid . . . oh, wait.
Anyway, that's ...
My Two Cents ...

Wednesday-morning ping! Have a great day, y’all!
Excellent bottom line!
This was held back until they stopped playing stenographer and now they have chilled any source and any reporter who might have actually reported on this administration
very totalitarian banana republic
I have more and more respect for Glenn Beck each day
.
Funny, four Americans murdered in Benghazi - press yawns; IRS targets conservatives - press yawns; but, oh, dear, the newspapers are bothered by their Prince Hussein, and the whole world grinds to a halt to the sound of screams all ‘round.
And the double agent that’s being protected is President Obama.
Holder's Justice Department is out of control.
OK, who received the special breifing (talking points) yesterday, 5-21, from the White House. They are members of the White House Quisling society.

Have no fear, this will not wake up the MSM. They’ll come for the conservative media, and then the moderate media, and the libs will be the last standing: taking orders fro the proletariat.
Thanks JH2, and very accurate!
Just another lie, John. But someone else may now be seeing it, too.
Most excellent commentary, JH2! You have NO idea how happy I am that you are back.
After reading, I’ve decided that we...the American people...aren’t getting very good “ customer service.”
;-)
Doesn’t this feel like the Clintons all over again?
On a grander scale?
