Via the Chris Stigall Show and WPHT in Philadelphia. Two weeks ago, this wouldn’t have been worth posting; Attkisson herself, I suspect, wouldn’t have mentioned it publicly. Even if she’s right about something fishy going on, there are other plausible culprits besides the U.S. government when it comes to reporters’ computers being infiltrated. Two weeks later, though, knowing now that the DOJ was willing to order a dragnet of AP reporters’ phone records and actually read James Rosen’s e-mails, there’s no way around the obvious suspicion. If the feds were willing to monitor Rosen and the AP in the name of cracking down on leakers, why wouldn’t they monitor the one reporter from non-Fox big media who’s done more digging on Fast and Furious and Benghazi than anyone else?
Attkisson told Laura Ingraham in October 2011 that a White House official had screamed and cursed at her for her reporting. The DOJ wasn’t happy either:
Im certainly not the one to make the case for DOJ and White House about what Im doing wrong. They will tell you that Im the only reporteras they told methat is not reasonable. They say the Washington Post is reasonable, the LA Times is reasonable, the New York Times is reasonable, Im the only one who thinks this is a story, and they think Im unfair and biased by pursuing it.
Which government sources were aiding and abetting this “unreasonable” reporter? There was one obvious way to find out. Any comment, DOJ?
Here’s the clip. The full Stigall podcast can be found here. Obvious exit question: Whether Attkisson was monitored or not, it can’t be just the AP and Rosen whom the feds have snooped on in four years. How many other reporters?
This is Fast and Furious/Benghazi investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson, who CBS claims is being too diligent in her work, bordering on partisanship...
Yeah? So what? My computer’s been acting wonky for about that long as well.
Nothing to see here, move along
Turn off the computer and let me take a look at it, and I will tell her if they did somethign to it.
I also have a relative in the FBI computer forensic’s lab
Things that make you say hmmm...
Why do you think the NSA is building the countries biggest spy center ?
If I were her I’d keep a second, off-line, computer to work on and store her work product.
If something doesn’t seem right, it probably isn’t. She’s a “threat” to the regime and has likely been under surveillance for quite some time.
Actually, in my experience, you want to leave it on when you start forensics on a box. . . image the hard drives, and then search the images. . .
Yum... another shoe.
I love shoes!
If I were here, I’d get used to it. If the gubmint ain’t spying on her, then her bosses at CBS surely are.
Attkisson is an Enemy of the People and must be outed for the common good.
She reports; we denounce.
There is No Such Agency.
No need for any commemt from me.
Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
The noose is tightening around us. Remember the Clown’s first press stooge Gibbs? The lackey once remarked that his tin idol wanted to keep a “boot on the neck” of BP....
Team BO really really really hates the first two amendments in the Bil of Rights.
I have noticed that certain conservative sites seem to have become almost impossible for me to use. Have others noticed this? And to the techies, is it likely the problem is simply inferior infrastructure or is some sort of sabotage possible? Could DOJ do something to a website so that those reading anti-Obama news and commentary can be tracked?
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Google has been systematically attacking conservative sites since approx. 2011 or so.
The gimmick is to say that there is a bogus ‘malware’ problem. The sites get a scary looking pop up warning. It has happened to my site more than once and to Breitbart and The Daily Caller at least once that I have counted. Other attacked sites include ammoland, and other gun rights sites.
