Never Mind Impeachment; Keep your Eyes on the Prize

Conservatives and Republicans would be unwise to pursue President Obama's impeachment as my colleague Bruce Walker today argues. The odds are the effort would backfire, and there is a much more important goal that should be at the center of our political strategy: sweeping Democrats out of office in 2014 and 2016 in numbers sufficient to enact structural reforms, including replacement of the tax system and junking the IRS and outlawing public employee unions.

A well-reasoned article. While all of us would love to see Obama and all of his henchmen and henchwomen do the perp-walk in orange jumpsuits, we need to plan realistically.

The last thing we need is to make him a martyr. I personally think that George Soros will arrange that before long, when he realizes that Obama's shelf life has expired.

We need to use these scandals to clean house and prepare the 2014 and 2016 election battlefields for a massive repudiation of all things Obama, RAT and Socialist. An impeachment extravaganza would be counterproductive.

And in reality, Obama isn't worth the effort. He is a race-hustling loser who has set back race relations in this country over 50 years.

Make IRS Criminal Actions be about Liberalism Not Obama

Let me be clear. I do not believe that President Obama will be impeached. He will never admit that he has done anything wrong. If there is any wrong-doing, others will take the blame (or be forced to take the blame).

The media will only go so far in attacking President Obama even though he disdains them and uses them for his own purposes. President Obama is anti-American, and that includes the freedoms found in First Amendment. The media do not care. Their religion is liberalism, and they will follow any god who proclaims it.

Consider this from the liberal folks at Solon.com. It sounds like some members of the media are about to crack:

“The U.S. Justice Department’s secret seizure of phone records of reporters and editors at the Associated Press is nothing less than a continuation of attacks on freedom of the press that have been ongoing under the administration of President Barack Obama.

That needs to be continually brought up -

all things being equal, these offenses are impeachable and worthy of removal,

but a Democrat Senate and Political Correctness wrt the “first black president” precludes that course.

This slams the ‘rats and PC as opposing objective morality.

Even with his likely TREASON, it is fine to leave a Treasonous pResident in office. Otherwise, you just animate his base. Rather, let’s dispirit them for 2 election cycles.

.....it looked like the WH wanted just to control “the narrative.” But its seizure of AP phone records and surveillance of Fox employees now show its real aim: to control the news. The O-team has always prided itself on its media savvy......they elected a candidate with an otherwise unsalable socialist past on a campaign that sold his personality, not his platform. They won saintly press coverage, with much blather, mostly from the Washington Post about how Obama was all about “storytelling” and selling a “narrative”......

DO NOT FORGET that O's 2008 PR person----Anita "Mao" Dunn--- said AFTER the election that the O Team "allowed" the media to know only what THEY wanted them to know.

Ohaha was tightly scripted on the campaign trail---saying only cute things that would get him elected----revealing none of his anti-America hatred. The Chi/mob Dunn/Axelrod/Enmanuel/Jarrett allowed NO probing questions and up-close interviews.

TESTED FOCUS GROUP PHRASEOLOGY Ohaha was coached well......genially saying on the campaign trail that he wanted to be "another Reagan." Ohaha slipped only once---telling Joe the Plumber he would "redistribute the wealth" (a classic Communist phrase).

Dumping impeachment is good advice----if conservatives are running things---we screw up his agenda---and wont need to waste our time and resources impeaching this guy.

IMHO the best strategy to follow is to expose, and go after, the “lieutenants” carrying out Obama’s orders. Focus on the winnable plays and start scoring points to gain momentum. Forget Obama for now, we’ll steadily diminsh him by cutting out his foundation. Just work your way up the chain step by step, exposing and prosecuting the bigger fish as you go along. Each step a little closer to the president. A thousand cuts will eventually take its toll. Just my two cents.

The point of bringing articles impeachment is not necessarily to convict but to bring out the facts. If the facts warrant conviction and the Democrats save him, they will all look bad. Even if the facts don’t warrant conviction, they still could reflect poorly on the administration and initiate laws to prevent future abuse. Still, impeachment should still be a last resort, and it is too son to think about it now.

But if the Repubs don’t appoint select committees with subpoena power, they will be forced to either impeach or let Obama and his administration off the hook. My guess is that they will end up letting him off out of weakness.

Make reelection of any rat in congress a very difficult task in areas where there are still voters not rats on the dole.
