"Cruz has excited the Republican Partys conservative base during his first five months in the Senate..."
I'm encouraged by Senator Cruz, but he's far, far too new at this point to be considered for president. Plus, the man is a senator, not a governor. Do we have any evidence that he can actually lead? I think that remains to be seen, but I do give him high marks on ideology.

Thank you. Some sanity here. Some people say that “if it’s good enough for the democrats, it’s good enough for us”. No, no, it’s not.

Here is a brief, partial bio of Cruz. I say he's brilliant and a leader to take on the biggest problems because he's not afraid and he speaks directly to a problem, explaining it to the people will be a cake walk for him:
“Before being elected, Ted received national acclaim as the Solicitor General of Texas, the States chief lawyer before the U.S. Supreme Court. Serving under Attorney General Greg Abbott, Ted was the nations youngest Solicitor General, the longest serving Solicitor General in Texas, and the first Hispanic Solicitor General of Texas.”

but I do give him high marks on ideology. Don't minimize the ideology part. To me that is the most important trait. If a man thoroughly follows his beliefs, he can easily lead.
