For 92 percent of requests from green groups, the EPA cooperated by waiving fees for the information. Those requests came from the Natural Resources Defense Council, EarthJustice, Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, The Waterkeeper Alliance, Greenpeace, Southern Environmental Law Center and the Center for Biological Diversity.
Of the requests that were denied, the EPA said the group either didnt respond to requests for justification of a waiver, or didnt express intent to disseminate the information to the general public, according to documents obtained by The Washington Examiner.
CEI, on the other hand, had its requests denied 93 percent of the time. One request was denied because CEI failed to express its intent to disseminate the information to the general public. The rest were denied because the agency said CEI failed to demonstrate that the release of the information requested significantly increases the public understanding of government operations or activities.

TIME TO REVISIT SOLYNDRA.
So I am guessing you do not like the EPA? (/s)
My sentiments exactly. I worked in the pulp and paper industry for 35 years. The stories I can tell of their abuse. Whoo boy! They have taken more value and wealth from Americans under the guise of saving the bunnies. It’s an absolute power play and has little to do with sound science.
As a postscript, the GOP-e ‘Sir Robins’, as of yesterday have folded like lawn chairs on ‘Then Came Maud’s nomination as EPA head.
Go team! That reminds me. There’s an oil painting of a topless Bea Arthur out there somewhere. Here’s hoping it winds up in the Senate dining room!
It’s raining shoes!
Issa can set up as many oversight panels and hearings as he likes as long as we hold the House. Just keep hauling people in to give testimony until the corrupt thug unravels. Begin subpoenaing the EPA documents tomorrow.
fish heads are too good for them.
“Begin subpoenaing the EPA documents tomorrow.”
Issa has already sent a letter to the EPA asking for the documents. I think that is a step removed from a subpoena, but if the EPA does not respond I have little doubt there will be a subpoena.

it’s goi9gn to be REALLY tough connectign hte dots between dear leader and the irs and the EPa- harder still to find a smokign gun to implicate the dear leader- however, we already have a smoking gun on Benghazi- our dear leader LIED for months to us and to the world and blamed AN AMERICAN for the terrorist murders in libya-
All these ‘scandals’ such as irs, epa etc are in my opinion, taking focus off a very seriosu matter and a matterr in which we have direct eivdence that our dear leader is incompetent, callous, and even anti-American
IF there are direct evidences linking dear leader to epa regulations and irs regulatiosn which targetted conservative groups, then yeah- ok, let’s aggresively follow up on them- however, I think these issues should probably wait until after we expose our dear leader as incompetent to lead thsi coutnry for his inaction/orders to stand down when 4 Americans were desperately and fearfulyl fightign for hteir very lives while BEGGING our govenrment for help- Thank goodness the great Americans i nthe military who DEFIED orders did what they did or there woudl have been many many more casualties- but hte fact still remains, our dear leader WENT TO BED when 4 Aemricans were beign mrudered in cold blood because he gave the orders or approved the orders to ‘stand down’
I believe that it is coming to the point that the Main-Lining Media can’t protect The King too much longer, and the King will respond with a blow up, trigger pulling catastrophe...
What’s next? Crucifixion?

I agree. We’re going to see something very dramatic happen. Cornered snakes strike out and he’s moving further into the corner. We’ll see a show down.
You’re passionate, friend, but you really ought to take a moment and proofread your comments before posting them.

Well....He does have friends willing to help.
Let me be clear I only heard about it when you guys did-yeah that’s the ticket.
More low-level rogue bureaucrats, confused by vague rules, making bad decisions, that are not politically motivated. You heard it here first!

“What we dont have, is a media that will acknowledge that we have a single major theme among these misdeeds and cover ups.”
Why is that? Is the lack of competition in the media not as suspect as all these other corrupt organizations? Who is in control of who gets airtime or can establish a new media outlet?
