The most important thing to know about Eric Holder is that since 1971 he has carried the following quote from Harlem Reverend Samuel D. Proctor in his wallet(s).

Just once I’d like a committee member say “you are aware Mr Holder that if we find out later that you did know something, when you testified here that you didn’t, we’ll throw you in prison and toss away the key?”.

There is no formal process for “recusal” according to Holder... So just take my word for it... didn’t tell the Pres. “Don’t know when I recused myself” - Holder
The best way to answer nothing, just claim everything is an ongoing investigation.

“That is the subject of an ongoing investigation, so I am not at liberty to answer that question.”
