"The AP phone records thing just sealed the deal for what the newest narrative around the Obama administration is going to be. They are the new Nixon admin when it comes to bullying, withholding info and targeting enemies. The right won't probably call him directly Nixon because you know, Nixon was a Republican, but it will be the basic idea. You will hear claims that there has never been an administration who reached so far to suppress information and dissent."
"While I don't think this is actually the full truth, it is hard to not realize this is fully the fault of the administration that perception has gotten to this point. They have a small window- I'd say 2-5 days- to try and turn this around and hold on to a plausible veneer of not being a group of shadowy thugs. But given how tone def they've been in the past, my money is on this being the lens through which their next 3.5 years are viewed."

I’m waiting for the Nixon equivalent of “I am not a crook” statement from Obama. It might come as a “I am not a socialist,” “I am a freedom-loving American,” etc. but if he’s really in a corner, it will come in whatever fashion.
He’s tickled around it with his fake-ass “I found out about it when you did - on the TV news.”
However, in the wake of last night’s Jon Stuart show where he relentlessly ridiculed his “I just found out about it when.....” Obama and his idiot liars-in-waiting have some soul-searching to do.
When Obama gets up there and tries to blame it all on his minions from whom he NEVER had any inkling of their crimes to a media that is hot-damned pissed about bugging and lying et al, he may end up saying the equivalent - I am not a crook.

I am enjoying watching liberals and the media try to spin this. I have never seen them run out of ways to paint something. The next step is to find other news and bury the issues.
We need two Special Prosecutors. One for Bengazi and the other for the IRS tax scandal.
Now we may need one for the EPA.
I might add to all out there, my real hope is that Eric Holder is the one that is identified, charged and imprisoned in a$$-banging jail over all this. I believe that he is the most dangerous, even though Obama is bad.
His hatred for us is palpable, and his actions show it on a multitude of fronts.
One of the comments he made about how he worked for America is how he found a ‘moribund’ Civil Rights division of DOJ and revitalized it. Outrageous when one thinks back to the Philadelpia New Black Panther voter intimidation in Philadelphia or his prosecutions across the front, only aimed at white people while absolving anything black in his wake. A dangerous man, one who should be immediately cut off from Obama’s stable of racist functionaries.

And unlike Nixon, woodward and bernstein would be rooting and covering for obama, lest they be alienated and discredited by the rest of the MSM. Journalists = liberal socialist cheerleaders, no exception. This is what happens when the media becomes the propaganda branch of the federal government.
