Hot teacher alert!
(Excerpt) Read more at abclocal.go.com ...
This is a legal case not a moral one. The teacher is the one culpable under the law and should be prosecuted period. But the son did what exactly that should lead to punishment like say taking away his car keys? Similar situation reverse the gender roles and the girl would automatically be a victim. Even if the girl was sexually active for years prior and seduced the teacher, legally and ethically it is still the teachers responsibility and the girl is a victim. Switch the roles again and now the boy should be punished, kicked out of the house? The only moral or biblical law he broke was sleeping with another man’s wife, now that is something I would tell my son is stupid, dangerous, immoral and can destroy a family.
always important to stay classy...truth tends to hurt
Your daughter has a wise Dad
well said
“....I get older, they stay the same age.”
“Its not rape if the sex is mutually consented to, especially if the lucky beneficiary is a male!”
Yes, it is, it is statutory rape. As we see illustrated by your comment, porn and sordidness have deadened our consciences to where it is considered a positive thing to molest a teen boy, even on FR for some.
Hey, what if a little girl “really wanted it?”
“Should there be statutory rape when the adult is a hot 25-year-old chick and the victim is a 16-year-old young man? “
YES, that is what it is.
It’s called “hyperbole”. You should look it up. And fu2.
Thanks, FPC. I was joking a little with the high five thing... That seems to have gotten under the thin skin of some of the folks here.
Great post.
Stay classy, indeed. Maybe you should follow your own advice.
I’m not hurt, just disappointed that there are modern-day Pharisees still around.
Or since you’re the expert on truth, maybe we should just call you Pilate...
Of course it is what it is, as are all things...
I was trying to point out that in most cases of a slightly older female and a slighty under-age male, no charges should be brought, since in most men’s points of view (as demonstrated on this thread), it’s not really a problem, as opposed to if the genders were reversed.
Pre-approved for a BJ Clinton post-POTUS pardon.
“When I was in high school this wasnt something that got people upset.”
Exactly. The boy would have been congratulated by his mates and the young lady would have been scolded by the principal. I don’t know why so many folks here (guys, I imagine), have their panties in a knot about it.
I think it’s due to either a misplaced sense of justice or equality, or more probably, a not-so-hidden agenda of misogyny in wanting her punished as a man would be, and ergo, a lack of self-certainty in their own masculinity.
You might want to talk to the mother of the 16 year old and see if she would agree.
I’m sure we can all agree the mother is ecstatic about the situation (”/s”, for those that need it).
I’ll raise you one by saying you might want to talk to the boy’s father (but only when not anywhere near the mother!). ; )
This isn't RAPE. This is a badge of honor for a sixteen year old boy. As for her, she should've known better being his teacher. If the gender role was reversed, I'd say the SAME THING about the teacher and add the rape charge as well.
“Boys give love in exchange for sex. Girls give sex in exchange for love.”
And I agree that boys are hard-wired for sex at all times and places with any partner that will have them. Look at it from an evolutionary perspective.
Half a million years ago, when hunter-gatherer humans traveled in tribes, the Alpha Male of the tribe “owned” all the females in heat. Woe unto any “little stick” that came sniffing around at that time! So the lesser males mated any chance they got, usually at great risk.
However, God in His wisdom (and His exquisite humor) found an amazing way to broaden the gene pool despite tribal politics. When a group of women live together (as in tribes) their menstrual cycles tend to synchronize, which must have made things tricky for the Alpha Male while opening lots of ... ahem ... doors for the lesser males.
I’m not surprised that our frisky student took advantage of her offer, but he was monumentally stupid to talk about it.
If I sat on the jury for this one, she would walk free. Not because she’s cute but because I don’t believe the boy was “corrupted” in any way by the event. No harm, no foul.
Reminds me of a cartoon I once saw.
A little boy and a little girl are talking and the boy says, "I have one of these and you don't".
And the little girl replies, "I have one of these...and my mama tells me that with one of these, I can have all of those that I want".
