What's the biggest group of Conservatives in the nation? The Tea Party people.
And what group is chock full of Patriots? Yup, the TPM.
And blaming in on low level employees...this kind of stuff originates at the top, where the fish rots first.
The fish with the big ears.
They will fire a couple of grunts at the bottom of the ladder and the ones that really did this in top positions---doing the bidding of the White House and the DNC---will skate.
I think this is especially important.
In theory, just about any offense should be subject to the acceptance of a sincere apology.
But it is hard to believe that the apology is truly sincere, if no concrete steps are taken to ensure that such a practice never happens again...
There ain’t enough lamp posts in D.C. To handle all the scoundrels who should be hanging by the neck from them.
This kind of executive abuse should be prosecutable. Congress should be all over this abuse of power by zero and his henchmen.
Government SCANDAL after government SCANDAL. Nothing but corruption. Maybe I’m just waking up, but, as an American, this is more than just embarrassing.
“...”They didn’t do it because of any political bias,” Lerner said
What a load of BS that is! I would bet any money that every single one of those low level employees voted for obama. They need to lose their jobs!
These are the actions of mobsters, Nazis and those who desire to control everything and everyone, using fines, audits, taxes, manipulation and threats of investigation as their weapons.
The government has become a very evil entity.
Screw all of this apology garbage. I don’t want any damn apology, I want heads to roll. people fired, even arrested. I want to know WHO GAVE THE ORDER!!!!!
Kill the damn government corruption.
Mark Levin’s Landmark Legal Foundation exposed this abuse of power. He is talking about it on his show right now.
so why’d they apologize if no one was asking for one? Some in the IRS doesn’t like the administration or did they know something was coming soon?
They were also looking for “progress” and “progressive,” right?
There is a very simple, effective, and long lasting way to prevent this from happening again no matter which party is temporarily in the White House.
One fine Monday morning the entire staff of the Cincinnati IRS office forms up outside “their” building. In the back ranks are the “low level” functionaries, GS and contractor, and as you work your way to the front you find more important functionaries. At the very front you find Lois Lerner, the director the IRS unit that oversees tax-exempt organizations.
They are informed by federal marshals that they have all lost their security clearances and have 2 hours to clean out their desks off any and all personal items. They can come back Friday to ick up their final pay checks.
They are also informed that if anyone wants to stay employed in any capacity by the federal government they have until close of business Wednesday to provide documented proof as to who violated their job description and who approved it. Those who don’t step forward will never work for the federal government again.
This gross violation of public trust occurred, like most of these violations, because the people involved figured they would never get caught much less punished.
Take that feeling of godhood away just one time and most of the federal bureaucracy will rapidly clean up their individual and collective acts.
After all, a generic apology goes a long way in restoring reputations, public trust, and private bank accounts; don’t it.
And they expect an apology?
Cold day in hell when that happens. IRS is an entity unto itself, and has been for years. The only way changes will be made it to expose them and the people who govern them.
*Putting hand to ear* What? Who? When? Prove it!
I’m mad as hell and I won’t take it any more!
Can you imagine if the reverse had happened and it was dem groups that were falsely investigated by the IRS? Dems would not be calling for just investigations. They would be calling for impeachment hearings. This incident alone even without a “Benghazi” would be like a “Watergate” to them.
Wow. First ABC reports on the twelve phases of Bengazi excuses and now this. What’s going on here?
Jenny Beth Martin, national coordinator for Tea Party Patriots...
Tea Party Express founder Sal Russo
These are national organizations and, AFAIC, can go jump in the lake. They ruin the reason "Tea Party candidates" were so successful in 2010 and hopefully will be in 2014.
I get 3-4 email from Ms. Martin each week. They all share in common: A desperate plea for my dollars and info on the latest scheme against nobama. That's not what Tea Partys are for.
Tea Partys should stick to local issues. That's what we do best.
The WH lies!
