“Only Secretary of State could grant exception”... This was because of testimony that Hicks was saying that the facility in Tripoli did not met “minimum security specs”.
Therefore, Secretary of State Clinton HAD TO GRANT AN EXCEPTION TO THIS SITUATION DIRECTLY...

Why? So we could ship arms to Al Qaeda in Syria quickly and under the radar?

This was about security at the facility in Tripoli that was attacked... It did not meet security specs for an embassy...

I am not sure why you are bringing up sending arms to Syria?

This is about security at a US facility overseas...

I remember about the WMD's to Syria.

My thoughts on that is that Israel will probably take care of it. They do not want Al Quada or others to get their hands on them.

And the fact the Syrian government has recently used WMD's, it seems to verify the story during the Iraq war.

My last reply to this (1165 of this thread) was really meant for Hummingbird.

In backtracking, I posted to the wrong person...
