Hearing details:
WASHINGTON House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today announced three witnesses who will appear at a full committee hearing, Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11:30 AM in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
I applaud these individuals for answering our call to testify in front of the Committee. They have critical information about what occurred before, during, and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks that differs on key points from what Administration officials including those on the Accountability Review Board have portrayed, said Issa. Our committee has been contacted by numerous other individuals who have direct knowledge of the Benghazi terrorist attack, but are not yet prepared to testify. In many cases their principal reticence of appearing in public is their concern of retaliation at the hands of their respective employers. While we may yet add additional witnesses, this panel will certainly answer some questions and leave us with many new ones.
Witnesses: Mr. Mark Thompson
Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism
US Department of State
Mr. Gregory Hicks
Foreign Service Officer and former Deputy Chief of Mission/Chargé dAffairs in Libya
US Department of State
Mr. Eric Nordstrom
Diplomatic Security Officer and former Regional Security Officer in Libya
US Department of State
In October 2012, the Oversight Committee held the first hearing on the Benghazi attacks, which exposed denials of security requests and forced the Administration to acknowledge that the attacks were not sparked by a protest of a YouTube video, contrary to claims made by Obama Administration officials.
*** NOTE: Press seating will be reserved, but limited. Please arrive early (hearing room will open to press at 10:30 AM) to guarantee a seat. An overflow area will be available. ***

"The ACLU gives her a 100..."
Its on Wiki.
Sheila Lee Jackson will find a way to be a part of these hearings.
She's an aisle hog and thinks the US flag was planted on Mars.
Don't get between her and a camera.
She quotes herself and gives herself a warm fuzzy feeling.
Is McFarland one of the people who does not want to appear before committee?
If so, what is his current status? What was his status on 9/11/2012?
Obviously, your Bible seems to have helped.
But there are some folks on Freerepublic that allow some things to get to them...
There are certainly things we can change...
There are certainly things we cannot change...
Wisdom is needed...
And I believe he will get elected.......again.
“Does he have any specific power to protect the whistleblowers?”
Cummings could agree with Issa to subpoena (call on the carpet) any State Dept. functionary (now under Kerry) who would take any action to enforce the career dead-ending demotion and false adverse performance reviews in Hicks’s file that would prevent him from resuming his previous status.
If he runs, he will. If he decides to hell with another election, he will remain president for life, the main stream media will celebrate for a month and the only Congrseeional opposition will be Trey Gowdy and Ted Cruze.
IMHO this is the beginning of the end. Some Rs with spines - and some were displayed yesterday - who won’t give up - and the whistleblowers we heard, and ones in the wings - anything is possible.
Of course I want this to avalanche but I think it really may get the rocks rolling and once this blows wide open, it could open all kinds of other doors about crimes commited, Islamic influence in our gov, and just who the he!! is the guy in the WH.
(For those interested, much new info on this thread about that topic):

Good point; it never occurred to me. I hope this comes out in the hearings that they had made a decision of no deployment - on the timing.
Did they pick out an arbitrary number?
She really does. Is she the mother of one of the four.
Sunday is Mother's Day. That's got to be gut-wrenching.
Are they in real time?
Did she wake Obama up? Did she contact Jarrett?
I'd like to see the timeline on who knew of ambassadors death and what kind of scrambling began.
He also had a meeting with a Turkish potentate that day.
Wonder how much time elapsed between his meetings and the attack.
If she is elected, we might as well call America the USSA........
There is a theory that has floated around, from time to time, that Iraq, during the war, convoyed WMD's to Bekka Valley in Syria.
Satellite photos indicate this is possible and, why there no WMD's detected in Iraq.
They had already been shipped to Syria and buried under the sand.
This is how I recalled situation at any rate. YMMV!!
I'm on (sleepy) allergy medicine so if I don't sound coherent, you can blame the allergy medication.
Other times I am incoherent, I have to own it myself. <8^)
My thoughts on that is that Israel will probably take care of it. They do not want Al Quada or others to get their hands on them.
And the fact the Syrian government has recently used WMD's, it seems to verify the story during the Iraq war.
In backtracking, I posted to the wrong person...
Do they even know how ridiculous they sound and look?
When they hang out with each other, do each of them think OR feel that they are a cut above the rest. Because they are not.
"Lions, tigers and bears.....oh, my. Lions, tigers and bears....oh, my!"
Who was the DC commissar?
If he was being minded, did he know it?
