NDTV reports an armed Syrian group on Tuesday abducted four UN peacekeepers from the Philippines in the Golan Heights, which has been hit by a mounting spillover from the Syrian civil war, the United Nations said.
The four were patrolling near the Al Jamlah locality in the ceasefire zone between Israel and Syria where 21 Filipino peacekeepers were seized by Syrian rebels in March...

I object to any US involvement in Syria...unless Israel is in dire need of assistance. Let the Muslims kill each other and the UN stooges. I could care less about any of them.

I say we give Assad whatever chemical weapons we still have with the requirement that he use them on every square inch of his country. If he fails to do that we nuke him.
I’d object to the US intervening militarily even then. This is our neighborhood. If we can’t win our own fights, we can’t live here.

I wonder how far up the target list the Al Jamlah facility just moved.
That seems to be Israel’s plan too - they only intervened to stop a threat to themselves. IMO, it’s a good plan.
