Payback time in the hen house as Benghazi hearings start on Wednesday
Washington Times ^ | 5/7/13 | Wesley Pruden

The noise in the hen house this morning is the flutter and cackle of the chickens from Benghazi, scuttling home to roost. The House committee opening hearings Wednesday on what happened there is likely to serve up chicken surprise. The four whistleblowing witnesses scheduled to testify to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee are said to be eager to tell a story far different from the various accounts, all confused and all contradictory, peddled by the Obama administration. Someone at the White House should have remembered that old Washington chestnut, as true now as ever,

......republicans, rather than act gentlemanly....

Pal, that act wore out 15 years ago. The Republicans are nothing more than highly rewarded enablers. They have no ideology, and are just there to make sure they get their share of the swag.

If you live in a safe-seat Republican district, be so kind as to compare your Congressman's net worth when he started and his net worth today. Be diligent enough to inquire into the business dealings of his family and friends.

The Republican Party of today is right where it wants to be: its elected élite getting filthy rich and avoiding ANY responsibility for governance at the Federal level.

Thanks...you’re correct about the 72 hour rule. However, there may be other witness at subsequent hearings. I hope that the four GOP House chairs have their act together..

Every one of the witnesses is going to get the same treatment that Ken Starr

Perhaps, but the M.O. of these scoundrels is to pick one, the "weakest", and go all out, front page, top of the fold. This will serve as an adequate distraction. When the Left is cornered, they will attack for certain, but they will bring all guns on one.

Kerry Confirms Benghazi Survivor at Walter Reed

End Times, New World Order Add comments.

Mar 062013
.

Breitbart: “Secretary of State John Kerry confirmed to Fox News Reporter James Rosen on Tuesday that he visited an individual at Walter Reed who survived the deadly attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. According to Kerry, the survivor of the attack is still at Walter Reed recovering six months later.

Rosen asked Sec. Kerry, “Why have we not heard from any of the Benghazi survivors?” After a pause, Sec. Kerry responded, “Well, I—I mean, I can’t tell you the answer to that. I can tell you that I have visited with one of the survivors at Bethesda hospital, who is a remarkably courageous person, who is doing very, very well. And I’ve called his wife and talked to her.”

Rosen followed up, asking if the public will hear from them. Sec. Kerry only answered, “I can’t tell you…”

Opinion: In the new world order, both the public’s right to know and the Congress of the United States are becoming irrelevant. Everything revolves around the White House and they will decide the appropriate response to every issue.

This is where the press is supposed to come in. It worked in overdrive during the Bush years. Abu Ghraib, Valerie Plame, and Scooter Libby were pounded into the public consciousness. Rising gasoline prices were attributed to two oil men in the White House.

We had a chance to hold them accountable. But, Bob Woodward retreated from his position that the White House made threats to him for calling the sequester a disaster. The Obama press is now even more emboldened, if that’s possible.

None of this happens in a vacuum. Without a watchdog media and an informed public, presidents can become dictators seemingly overnight.

Just 5 days ago in response to questions about the sequester, President Obama said, “The problem is that I’m the president of the United States, I’m not the emperor of the United States.” Notice he said problem. http://prophecytracker.org/2013/03/sec-of-state-kerry-confirms-benghazi-survivor-at-walter-reed/

“Breitbart also reported that Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where most of the survivors were taken, “is not only heavily guarded on the outside but on the inside as well, some say” and that “what appeared to be Secret Service personnel [were] moving in and out of a closed wing of the floor that was off-limits to everyone else.”

The fate of the survivors was pushed to the fore again on March 11, by CBS New’s Sharryl Attkisson, one of the few investigative reporters who still takes her job seriously. Attkisson again reminded Americans that the survivors remain off limits, even as she revealed that an undisclosed number of witnesses who also have not spoken publicly remain at the U.S. compound in Tripoli. In addition, she reported that CBS “had filed multiple Freedom of Information requests for Benghazi-related material but none has been provided.”

Four days later, the momentum began to shift. Stung by revelations that recuperating survivors still remain at Walter Reed..........’

I forgot to mention that since those words were written in March of this year, we know these survivors have been in the hospital for what was 6 months at that time. This means they are truly seriously injured.

They have families. They are currently faceless to us. These men are heroes and deserving of our praise.

Shame. For SHAME that 0bama, H3llary, Panetta, and yes, Petraeus DESERTED these men.

Unless some are being held there as a sort of jail? IOW not “free to go”? And where are all the others?

“They will serve to once again illustrate that the numero uno problem this country has is the Press.”

we once had a 4th estate who held the other 3 branches of government to objective scrutiny. now we have the 4th estate joined at the hip with the executive branch as their propaganda organ for hiding the truth.
