Would you support Sarah Palin should she decide to run for the presidency in 2016?

Let's see. How does she compare to my litmus checks:

What's not to like?

Oh, yeah. That thing about not reading newspapers and also seeing Russia from her house. That's just too dumb to be true. /s

Well, but she did resign from her office, so I guess that's one thing not to like. But they all have at least one thing not to like. How does she compare on all the major conservative issues?

And the left absolutely hates her.

And Tokyo Rove and the GOP-e absolutely despises her.

But tea party conservatives like her. A lot!

And so do I.

How about you?

Are you ready to turn this country around with an honest to God pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, God-loving, America-loving patriot and grassroots conservative favorite who we can all be proud of and for whom we will work overtime for a change?

Maybe she should try to run for statewide office again--Senate race in Alaska next year?--and improve her credentials first.

She hasn't won anything since her AK governor's race. That said, she has certainly helped a good many others win their Senate races.

She's been more influential in getting her Senate picks elected, and influence that secures the elections of multiple winners is what its all about.

The next office she should go for, if any, should be knocking off Begich in the AK Senate race -- abundantly winnable for her -- and show that she can do for herself what she has done for others.

FReegards!

I’ll get laughed at for saying this, I’m sure - but back in 2008 I felt she had God’s annointing on her - for what, and when, I do not know. I believe she still does.

With that said - It’d be nice if someone who knows how to get in touch with her would send her this link - even as a point of moral support.

Not to mention, look at the GOP right now. Look at our, ahem, supposed conservative ‘stalwarts’... Rubio pushing amnesty, Ryan embracing homo adoption, Toomey joining with Dems for gun registration. And these aren’t even the notorious RINO’s! These are supposed to be the “solid” guys we were to count on when the chips were down.

I love when Palin gets called “damaged goods.” There were people on here just two weeks after the 2008 election pushing that. The ones that thought Romney was the bee’s knees. And they never let some journ-O-list slander against Palin go by without spotlighting it. Well, if you really want an example of something that truly looks like “damaged goods,” just take a quick gander at the “GOP” itself.

I’d like to know first who she would pick for her veep. Another Cheney war hawk - NOPE. Nation build America, not the world.

Mathematics still works ~ win 50% of the vote plus one more vote and you win the office. You succeed by getting out more voters for your guy than the other guy can get out.

Short of widespread murder and violence there's no other way.

The two party system is implicit in the structure of the Republic

The point of campaigning in America is to build up a body of voters who will vote for you while, at the same time, convincing the people who would usually vote for the other guy to not bother voting.

Voter registration campaigns are as much a part of politics as anything else. Basing your campaign on 5 days of TV advertising isn't going to win. Remember, 90 million Americans of voting age usually don't vote. Some of them are Republicans. We must get them out to vote. There are over 900 TV channels. You simply cannot reach everybody on TV anymore!

WE LOST when Romney said Obama was a nice guy. WE LOST when McCain said Obama was a nice guy.

We will win when our candidate says the other guy is a stupid wastral who'll destroy the Republic and make your babies to smoke!

We'll also win when the RNC tosses a bunch of campaign money into voter registration efforts back in the Spring when we are running primaries. We should encourage many candidates in those primaries ~ makes it look like we care and that the voting public is getting a choice.

If a candidate appears to cheat, or has co-conspirators who do cheat, or trick the rules, we must be prepared to BAN THAT PERSON forever from running as a Republican.

“I personally like her very much, but...Unfortunately, no. She has over-exposed and marginalized herself, and her family. Conservative Kardashians.”

LOL I agree wholeheartedly. Her brand is now about making money, and more power to her.

He was born in Canada. If he runs for president, that sets a very bad precedent.

All I can say is I and others have noticed that the people campaigned hardest for Mitt showed up on many PDS destroyed Palin threads.

Make of that what you will and a search through the old threads will prove it. All I can say without reservation is that if the PDS is not ended, we will have a repeat of another Romney fiasco. We have to get behind someone early and not let go. If that isn’t Palin, so be it. But if the PDS BS runs wild AGAIN, history will repeat.

Her choice to run or not. But it’s everyones our choice to let the same people cause chaos or not.

Delusional is what I am not. Hillary will be hard to beat no matter who we nominate unless something unforeseeable happens, and pretending the left won’t use Palin’s resignation against her is delusional.

Hitlery could only win if there is even more massive, coordinated election fraud than we had in 2012.

We lost when the GOP adopted liberalism. The rest doesn’t matter.
