A blind veteran was forced to defend himself after being attacked in broad daylight.
Fifty-one-year-old Gordon Besaw has glaucoma. He and his seeing eye dog, Derby, were headed to the VA Medical Center for treatment Tuesday when police say he was attacked by 27-year-old Christopher Andrew.
"He asked me, 'Are you blind?' I said yes," said Besaw. "He said, 'I can make you see before you see God'."
Police say Andrew punched the retired U.S. Army Special Forces soldier in the head.
"He said, 'I can make you see again' and he punched me in the head again," Besaw said. "I'm like, 'Man, you're not going to like the way this is going to go.'"

"I can make you see again!" is a long way from "Give me your wallet!" I wonder if the perp is nuts.

Wonder how long before Obama and Holder brings charges against the blind vet, remember kids according to them all vets are dangerous and likely to commit terror attacks like the one in Boston.

I suspect that once Chrissie gets behind bars, the guards will ensure that word gets out quickly that he attacked a blind vet and that said blind vet beat him up! Once that happens, I think Chrissie may have to start wearing a dress, as he will become some ‘Bubba’s girlfriend. Too bad, so sad! Ya makes yer bed ya lies in it!
The vet tells his german sheperd to stay before wading in and taking care of business. That has got to be one of coolest things I’ve read.
