The surprising thing to me is the poll's finding "that 29 percent of Americans think that an armed revolution in order to protect liberties might be necessary in the next few years, with another five percent unsure." I would have expected that number to be much smaller.

We knew more about “Speed Bump”, his brother, wife, lunatic mother and father and the intire F’ed up family in 24 hours than we do about Lanza in 5 months.
Any one see a problem here??Like maybe Lanza was loonier than all of them combined!!

If there was a bipartisan moment after Sandy Hook to pass gun control legislation, its past, said Dan Cassino, a professor of political science at Fairleigh Dickinson, and an analyst for the poll. Partisan views have strongly re-asserted themselves, and theres no sign that theyll get any weaker. Bipartisan moments in Washington have a lifespan of about one news cycle.

The question that none seem to be asking the gun control pushers is
what is it that you want to do after the people are disarmed that you can’t do now?

The number is probably greater as responders may fear that the pollsters may not be who they say they are or may turn them in if they are real pollsters.

“Turning to attitudes toward the Sandy Hook shooting in December 2012, which prompted the recent debate over the need for new gun control laws, the survey finds that overall, a quarter (25%) of Americans think that facts about the shootings at Sandy Hook elementary last year are being hidden and an additional eleven percent are unsure.
Republicans are more likely to think that the truth about Sandy Hook is being suppressed, with 32 percent agreeing. Education matters as well. About a third (31%) of those with no more than a high school degree think the truth is being hidden, compared with 16 percent of college grads.
After Sandy Hook, there was a huge swell of theories claiming that it was faked, said Cassino. Its easy to deride these sorts of conspiracy theories, but they seem to have found an audience.”
That’s pretty sad, that 1/3 of Republicans are that gullible.

Yea me too.
Look at the republican number 44%, it seems we are in a much stronger position to defend ourselves than we thought. We should take advantages of theses numbers in conservative states to Push nullification and coordinated interposition efforts.
Meanwhile keep setting the brush-fires of liberty beneath the seats of our countrymen. We must either build a political base to reclaim our rights or raise the number.
