Bush fatigue still remains.
If it didn’t Obama could not have blamed Bush and ran successfully against him in 2012 and 2008.
The Bush name on the ballot would be toxic. He would lose, especially if the Dems find another charmer type candidate.
I doubt Hillary will run; she will have aged another 4 years by 2016.
Also note that the two most recent Dem wins have been with youngish charmers, and their losses were with the Old Guard politician types. Too bad the GOP doesn’t understand that instead of running their Old Guard politicians.
