Best comment ever!
At a United Church of Christ? Yeah, authentic.
Right - now she can perform those phony sacraments of matrimony between two homosexual men or two homosexual women, and advance those hideous lies also.
(Do they intend to call this woman "Father"?)
No, she wasn’t ordained a priest of the Roman Catholic Church. She and her friends are playing a sad game of pretend.
Your dog would be more competent than Obummer.
In an emotional ceremony filled with tears, applause, and fraud. Shove it, Reuters.
I did not see who did the ordination.
***
I did not see it either. Hmmm...good question.
The “ceremony” was carried out at St. Andrew United Church of Christ and, I assume, the person who thinks she actually can do such a thing is some other dingbat female, who is quoted (I am just guessing here):
“As a woman priest, Rosemarie is leading, not leaving the Catholic Church, into a new era of inclusivity,” said Bishop Bridget Mary Meehan during her sermon Saturday.
Looked it up and found another piece about this. Ceremony was performed by The Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests.
From this second article:
...traces its roots to 2002 and says it has ordained about 100 women priests worldwide, including several bishops, many leading small congregations independent from Vatican authority.
Bishop Bridget Mary Meehan of the association said its first bishops were ordained by a Roman Catholic bishop whose name has not been disclosed, giving them valid orders in the line of succession from the apostles.
False.
Not so much defiance as moronic monumental stupidity.
Might as well have "ordained" herself president of the U.S., or ordained herself an aircraft carrier; or a banana split.
Totally and absolutely meaningless.
Why is this news??
But... but...
The delusional whack jobs actually believe real Catholics give a rat's elbow.
Pointless exercise if she is not recognized by the Church as a priest.
Yes, and the media have been so successful at controlling the narrative in so many areas that they actually believe that they can gin up enough revolt among a sizable group of Catholics to bring about a change in Church policy.
