I have seen no evidence of that. As for the searches. If a homeowner objected to the search, and they were searched anyway, that, in my opinion, is a violation of the 4th Amendment. If they consented under the point of a gun, then that sounds like coercion to me. Others may disagree. And they have.
As far as the video. It's not as if people are just “making things up”. Unless the video was a bunch of actors, then people are being removed from their homes. With hands in the air. That can't be disputed. I think you would agree that the video posted is not of all the searches, just one of many.
Again, if any one of the homeowners objected to the search and were searched anyway, without a warrant, then it was a violation. Any other reading of the 4th amendment is akin to the gungrabber reading of the 2nd.
How you need to look at the pictures depends to a considerable degree on what it all meant to the participants, and whose property it is.
Do you have information you care to impart to us that will inform us of what really went on?
And, as a practical matter, all I said to PO people who don't read well was to note that we have some on this thread who wanted to turn the perp loose because of allegations that others were having their 4th amendment rights abridged.
Whether or not the people in this video had their rights abridged has nothing to do with that particular argument since NOBODY KNOWS!
