How did he purchase nails wihtout registering? These friggin idiot devious politicians will allow the gangbangers criminals rapists and murderers free reign while removing guns from law abiding citizens. What does that tell you? They are more afraid of us then they are the thugs they protect.

Horrors! I’d get ‘em on the gun charges...that’s much, much worse than anything else. How dare these immigrants flout the law like that!!??
To: smoothsailing
Uh-oh....bet they didn’t have a permit for those pressure cooker bombs either.
To: smoothsailing
But, did the bomb suspect have a pressure cooker, nails and ball bearings permit?

Could be the gun battle is all a big lie, could be they never had any guns. Could be the cops shot at each other. So far the “Official” narrative seems skewed. Also, searching homes without search warrants, holding homeowners at gunpoint, removing innocent citizens into the street, no seems to go against the U.S. Constitution & Bill of Rights. All in all the “authorities” were quick to identify alleged perpetrators (white hat still had his white back pack after the blasts, hmm).

I don’t think terrorists really worry about whether or not they have a gun permit. It’s not high on their list of priorities.

"Haas says the pair didn't release the driver, but he escaped when he was left alone while the two men entered a convenience store." (last sentence in the AP story)
Now that is more than passing strange.....they left the owner outside with the vehicle and went in the store? And the guy is STILL unnamed? You have to wonder if he's an accomplice who lost his nerve.
And why did they go into the store (a buddy behind the desk?)?
And I thought they said the car-jacking took place at the convenience store.
To: smoothsailing
I've been tempted to joke about a "seven-day waiting period" for pressure cookers or a "four quart limit", but this incident might (might) awaken a dormant sense among people that criminals and crazies won't ever obey their gun laws. And perhaps more people may realize that in a dangerous world, citizens are safer with rather than without firearms to protect them and their families.

I am sure under new legislation they would have run to sign up and get their permits. Certainly they are/were highly interested in obeying the law.
